There was a list in the Guardian sometime back of a top 10 things to watch in your lifetime in the sporting world.

What are the things that'd make your list?

    For me..

    - The Football World Cup final.
    - Champions league final
    - Match between any two of Man Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea(but not Chelsea v Liverpool)
    - El Classico
    - India v Pakistan cricket
    - Roger Federer at a Wimbledon final
    - Olympics 100m finals
    - The Ashes
    - NBA game between the two biggest teams at that time
    - Boca Juniors v River Plate(even though I wouldn't know a single player, I've heard that it's one of the best derbies in the world)

I'd like to see a superbowl game, or an NCAA final four game. Some of the things on that list I don't think I'd be too interested in (see: cricket) but I know other people think they are big deals.

Dammit, I'm gonna experience a Rangers-Islanders game in person one of these days. If it's half as insane as a Subway Series game...

I'd have to say any American football game where the temperature is below freezing and it's snowing like crazy out (preferably at Lambeau Field).

Also, any day game at Wrigley Field.

Actually, the experience here is a lot more festive when James Blake plays. He's a local guy, so the fans love him.

Yeah, but when Sampras retired, I adopted Roddick as my new favorite player.

Although Blake would be good to see as well.

Thankfully, I got to see a Yankees-Mets game at Shea back in '99, which was the rowdiest sports event I've ever seen. If they ever meet in the Series again, I'd love to get down there. Also, I was lucky enough to see the Toronto Rock beat Rochester for the National Lacrosse League title in 2000, scoring the winning goal with exactly one second left on the clock. That was the most dramatic sports victory I've ever seen, by far. I also saw them win the title against Arizona in '05, but the impact wasn't nearly as big.

Other events I'd like to see:

    Canadiens vs Maple Leafs
The Argonauts in The Grey Cup (next year hopefully)
The Blue Jays in the World Series
    Yankees vs Red Sox
Rangers vs Celtic (don't know much re soccer, but I know this can get nasty)
a Raiders game at the Black Hole, preferably against Denver or KC
    Flames vs Oilers
    Giants vs Dodgers in SF
    World Cup Of Hockey Final
    World Cup Of Soccer Final

Brett Favre, Lambeau Field, stomping the @#$% out of the Bears.
Brett Favre winning another Super Bowl, too, but we all know how likely that is.

Badgers winning another Rose Bowl (please, next three years, please, please!)

As you can see, my interests are purely regional.
