Sounds like you guys enjoyed yourselves. Hopefully next time the interFanForce activities will involve more of the Dayton Fan Force. How many people showed up?
I get to see the Matrix tomorrow morning. :D Pirate Popcorn, and pilfered pop into a mornin' matinee with strangers... Much fun ahead for me.. Do you think kettle corn bounces better than the regular stuff?

I will probably go see it next weekend with my wife. I can't wait to get my hand on the video game and the Animatrix DVD. Seems like the Matrix world is turning into a Star Wars-esque situation, with numerous subplots and backstories to entice eager young consumers, (like myself), to part with hard earned cash. Oh well, beats blowing your paycheck on crack and porno I guess.

I saw it yestersay, I wasn't as happy with it as I was the first. But I will say the twins, and the french guy were the best part for me. Hopefully that's not a spoiler. o_O -- Aaron, I hope you and your wife have fun at the movie!

Aaron I agree with you on how it's becoming like Star Wars in that respect. I have seen Reloaded twice and I love it, I liked it even more than the original. Well I just bought the video game and am going to go start playing it and yes I plan on buying the Animatrix also. We are the posterchildren of the marketing groups that target their commercial audiences to invest in their products.

Matrix Persona Quiz I found this little quiz thing on the Minnesota boards, and felt it worth stealing to share. It's spiffy, I took it and turned out as Persephone/The Twins.

Seems Im Persephone and Kim,(my wife), is Trinity. Saw Reloaded last Sat., all I can say is "huh"? I was totally confused by the Architect and exactly what happened to Zion and the Matrix itself at the end of the film. I guess I'll have to go see it again, the FX were cool as expected but the story was harder to follow than a bantha's tracks after a sandstorm. Id have to say that Agent Smith is far and away my fave character though.

I just got done watching the Animatrix and I thought it was pretty cool. A couple of the films were kinda weird but a couple of them were really awesome. I really liked Final flight of the Osiris, The Second Renaissance Parts 1 & 2, Kid's Story and A Detective Story. What did you guys think of it?

I'll be picking that up along with Enter the Matrix this weekend. There are some crazy MS-DOS style codes to enter in the game to unlock cheats, wierd. Don't know if anyone here is old enough to remember Pee Wee's Playhouse from the late '80s. Well, the connection to Matrix before anyone thinks Im rambling is that the character Cowboy Curtis was played by none other than the bad ass Morpheus, Mr. Lawrence Fishburne! Talk about skeletons in the closet, HardeeHarHar!

I remember Lawrence Fishburne as Cuba Gooding Junior's father on Boyz N Tha Hood. That's going way back, Before candy-ass white boys were seen as rap and mtv icons lol.

Don't forget the Beastie Boys, three white guys who hit the scene in the '80's! I picked up Animatrix, all in all very cool. My fave was the second Rennaisance, very violent and disturbing. That DVD should have been rated R with all the violence, but oh well. Matriculated was like watching it on a bad acid trip. Kids story was also very cool, I love backstories on minor characters. I started Enter the Matrix for Xbox last night also,so far Im not too impressed, I'll keep playing and see how it all feels.

I just got back from seeing Reloaded for the 3rd time. I have a few predictions...1st of all when the Architect of the Matrix is talking about the Mother of the Matrix and Neo and pretty much everybody that I know thinks without a second thought that it is the Oracle..I think not, I believe it is Persephonie(the Meovingian's wife). My second prediction is that Kid, the guy that wants to carry Neo's bags and always follows them around..I believe that he will have a Major Part to play in the fate of Zion.

I just thought I'd let everybody know that I just read on thematrix.com that Reloaded comes out on DVD on October 14th! Just 5 months after it's theatrical release, I wish more movie companies rushed movies to dvd like that. :)

Sean can you give us some thoughts on why you think Persephone is the mother?

This is why I think Persephonie is the Mother...The architect was talking about the mother of the Matrix as being a program whose specialty was total understanding of the human physche. When she was asking Neo to kiss her, before Trinity even got upset she stated how she could tell they were both so in love with each other. Then in the scene with Niobi in the Enter the Matrix video game when she kissed Niobi she was able to tell that she was dating Jason but was truly still in love with Morpheous. In the Chateau she knew that her husband had been getting busy with the blond from the restaurant. It's those things and the fact that when the Architect told Neo about the mother of the matrix and Neo responded by saying the oracle, the Architect did a little chuckle and said oh please. My gut tells me that it is Persephonie.

Crap, you mean there was hot girl-on-girl action in that awful video game? Guess I should have kept playing instead of trading it at EB in disgust!

I was thinking about 1 of the stories in the Animatrix called Beyond. It is the one where the children discover a abandoned house that is a bug in the Matrix. The children are able to move real fast, jump high, fall and catch themselves without hitting the ground, ect. To them it was amazing and alot of fun. I was thinking about it and remembering back to my childhood where I remember how I used to see things as being supernatural and different. Like when I would be playing in the woods, I often remember seeing things that weren't really there. I know now that I was just a kid with a over active imagination, But wouldn't it be cool to have a place like that where you could do amazing things and nobody else would know about it. Just day dreaming at work I guess, thought I would share that with you all. :)

I used to have hours of conversation with characters in my head as a kid, acting out intricate scenarios with little army men, Star Wars figures, Micronauts,(The forerunner of the Transformer), I sometimes miss bieng able to do that now. I sure my wife would call padded cell police if I started actually playing with my collection. But I know where your comin from on this Sean.

That Persephone theory has a lot of merit to it, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.
