Roch, NY The *NEW* Star Wars Miniatures Thread

4 Rounds of 200 pts does not a tournament make.
It ended up being just under 6 hours for the tournament to finish.
Daria, you'll be happy to know that I've decided to become a judge like John and we'll be having the two of us split tournaments.

The idea behind this is to get more packs of promos to dispense to players.
There were only 5 Marauders to give out this week and 3 Tatooine Maps.

 

Were you going to take any SW minis to Syracuse Heroes Expo to try to trade or play?

Nothing on the site yet, but I started a thread on their forum. We could always play and try to stir up interest. I doubt it will take me 2 full days to get all the sketches and autographs I want.

I still hadnt' decided on which day I wanted to attend but if you all want to coordinate for a Sunday game, I'd be more than happy to meet that request.

When is the Clone Wars release tourney? In WOTC's 4th. preview it says this set will be released on October 31st.. DCI's site says Millennium's sealed event is November 29th.. I'm confused; I thought it wasn't coming out until mid-November.

To all Attendees of Mini Gaming for this weekend at Heroes Expo, it'll be Sunday and a 150pt game.
We'll start off with a few maps and bring a 150 pt team and your trades/doubles.

In the interest of space, please dont pack everything you own...unless you've got room/reason to show off eh?
Also, please be sure to keep an eye on your stuff as we'll be sitting next to the 501st table and theres always a crowd around.

Bob, you'll be happy to know that WOTC recently published a ruling greatly diminishing Obi's block power.
Its now only effective against Melee assaults.

 

Well, I'm on Obi-Wan's side no matter who's controlling him.

Ummm...unless I'm playing and he's not on my team. Then he must be taken down!!

 

So, what are the rules for Saturday's game? Just 150 points, light or dark side? Anything else?

I visited Tara in Strong Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon. She should be on her way home today. If things continue to go well for her; Angel and company hope to make it to Saturday's game.
