..unfortunately, I downloaded the wrong game. It said "Jedi Outcast" but it was in fact "Age of Empires II"!

The computer I have now is a Gateway. It isn't as bad as everyone says.

 

For those of you playing the single player game:

open up your .cfg file (not the one with mp in it, the other one) with notepad

go to the end and find g_saberrealisticcombat=0

change the 0 to a 1. Now when you use the saber, you'll lop things off your opponents (arms, legs, heads)

 

Just open the console in the game and enter
g_saberrealisticcombat 1

And for some real fun...(in the console do

notarget (shuts off enemy AI)
npc spawn reborn (x4)
npc spawn jedi (x4)
notarget

kick back and watch the fun! Your mileage may very, depending on system

I also tried this with just 10 npc spawn stortmtroopers and setforceall 3 (maxes out all force powers)

 

I got outcast yesterday! This game ROCKS! Next to Baldurs Gate (all time fav game and impossiible to top for me) this is right there at 2 or 3! The multiplayer is superb to say the least, and single isn't bad either. If you don't have this and are thinking of buying it, def do so...

Anyway, it would be awesome if we could get our own Boston Rebels Clan going. If someone wants to get the ball rolling for that I would be happy to join...

 

AFTER?? After Baldur's Gate?? Are you insane??? j/k But really, how can you compare swinging a lightsaber to Baldur's Gate? :-D

A BR clan sounds cool, but how many people will we really have? I think there's only about 4 of us (at the most) right now. But hey, I'm up for it! But I'm usually only available M-F 2:30-5:30

I just love BG. Kind of a personal thing I guess...but there are many other fanatics out there as well.

Anyone else here play Baldurs Gate or BG 2?

 

What is it?

 

I have the first B.G., but it's not installed on my computer yet.

Balder's Gate is a real-time RPG for the computer. It's set in the AD&D world. It's really fun.
Think Diablo but with more D&D stuff.

 

Sounds like fun. Now that you mention it, I think I have heard of it; just never played it.
Its probably on a few $ now a days, maybe I'll pick it up.

 

Baldur's Gate always sounded like a cool game.
