Does anyone have any info or plans on how to build a life sized TIE fighter?

Not off the top of my head, but I'm sure the information is out there. A determined search should turn it up. If nothing else, you should be able to find the basic height/width/depth measurements and a couple good photos. From there, it's a lot of time with a ruler and calculator.

Really, what you need is a good--no, a REALLY GOOD set of photos, Top, Front, and side. And the basic dimensions. If I find them, I'll post them here.

They had a full sized TIE Interceptor, at Celebration V, this last August. I do believe that it was the 501st's Belgian Garrison that had built that bad boy.

I should think that is as good a start as any. I'd see if they don't have any schematics that can help you out. At the very least, the cockpit section is the same on a TIE, as it is with the TIE Interceptor. So there is half your problem potentially solved, right there.

Good luck. I am always inspired whenever I see full size props of the vehicles of Star Wars.
