trouble with laser plugin for Max

    Hello all,

    I have a question that I hope someone here can help me with. I have the laser plugin that can be downloaded from SciFi 3D, and can get it to run and everything but when it generates the "lasers" they seem to be off axis.

    Example:

    I have the A-wing model from SciFi 3D opened in Max. The "Front-to-back" axis of the model is the Y axis. When setting up the laser plugin I check the Y axis button and then pick a capsule shape as the "laser". But when I preview the animation the "lasers" are coming out of the gun going sideways (along the X axis) or upwards (along the Z axis).

    Does anyone know how to solve this?

    Any help would be great.

    I don't really remember how this plugin work, but maybe you can just try to change the axe in the laser setup
