Montréal *Victoria Day Weekend Trip to Ottawa*

We would be glad to have you along. Sunday we'll be meeting the Ottawa FF at the museum of civilization at 1 pm and will be going to dinner at 4 pm then back to our hotel room for 7-8 pm for the SWD show. Some of the group may go to the war museum in the morning about 10 am. Monday we're having brunch before we go back to Montreal.

 

Thanks for the whole weekend guys! It was awesome to spend it with all of you, though I feel like hitting a certain white head on the head for making me leave early... Other than that, the weekend was really awesome. Hope we can have another like that sometime.

I would like to thank everyone for making this weekend such a huge success! It was wonderful to be able to get together with people from Toronto, Ottawa, and the US. I hope that Montreal can host an event for everyone sometime over the summer. I'll be posting my photos as soon as I upload them!

Sharon, you missed all the adventures we had that night including the radio show and afterwards.

I hadnt been to Ottawa in over 16 years and I must say the last time was deffinitly not as memorable. I was glad to meet those I knew once again and those new faces as well. The force is deffinitly with you guys.

I have no idea what the story behind Scrat is, but I sure as hell have seen the pictures Goddess took.

Someone wants to tell me the story behind Scrat and that other 'bonhomme'? I believed he was dress in red, not sure though...

What that is the famous Bob?!? I've missed being introduced to him yet once again... That's it next time I'm anywhere near you lot, I better get introduced to Bob y'all here me?!

Oh and don't worry me and my sneaky ways will find a way of finding out what the story is... *nods, so sure of herself*

 

The "bonhomme" in red was Seb's friend, Bob the Jawa, dressed in his new Mountie jacket, a gift from jellicle_jedi of Toronto FanForce. The webcast and the room party which followed was lots of fun, one of the highlights of the weekend activities. Those of us from Toronto FanForce had a really great time in Ottawa with all the gang. We must do this again...

I wouldn't count on it. Being a girl doesn't save you from the terror of falling asleep first in the room!

 

Has anyone posted pictures/videos from this? especially of Scrat?

 

I've uploaded them to my computer but I haven't put any on my photobucket account yet. Sorry I've been kind of slow getting them on the boards. I'll try to get them posted by Tuesday!
