Sadly, you're right Corell. MAS is not writing SW anymore. However, Aaron Allston is, so that's what we're excited about.

 

Actually, I think he said he wasn't scheduled for any Star Wars books but he'd do one if they asked. I might be wrong though.

Upon recent seasonal re-viewings of the OT, it has come to my attention that *Wedge kicks arse.* Old school and seriously, and plainly too; he got no Force to help him, no blue ghosts to advise him. He just got skillz and wits.

They don't make them like that too often!

Perhaps you-all could help me with a (mis)perception of mine that's been around since 1983 or so: did Wedge gain weight between ANH and ESB, then lose it again for ROTJ?
Or was it just the context of ESB -- the lighting in that snowspeeder cockpit, or a thicker flightsuit due to the cold environment? Back in the day, I actually thought it was a different actor than Denis, until the credits rolled. Am I alone in this perception...?

First of all, congrats to CA on getting special name features for becoming the UK's FanForce representative.

As for Wedge, it does look like he gained weight between ANH and TESB. My guess is that that is an illusion caused by the smaller snowspeeder cockpit, heavier flight suit, and increased G's (they are in the atmosphere, after all). I do not think he gained any real weight.
