Wow....pretty dead in here this evening...

 

My dear, sweet little kitten ran away again last night. Last time he ran away for nearly 4 weeks and arrived home with a broken tail that had to be amputated for $500. So I was worried and didn't sleep much. Finally he showed up when I called him at 3:00am. Darn cat. He really does seem to get lost outside. He's an indoor kitty but manages to slip outside any chance he has. We usually can bring him back inside without a problem. Gesh. I'm in dire need of a mocha.

 

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he comes back soon. I know what you're going through, my first pet (a little puppy) was lost over a month or so ago...I was very sad. Maybe I should just get a fish..

 

I'm sorry about your puppy, Bryan! I hope you get another pet soon.

Thankfully my kitty has returned everytime so far he's bolted for the door and ran. He's been drowning his toy mice in his water dish though. Do you think that's a sign of aggression? ? I'm worried I'm a bad parent.

A fellow finds himself in front of the Pearly Gates. St.
Peter explains that it's not easy to get into heaven. There
are some criteria that must be met before entry is allowed.
For example, was the man a church-goer or religious? No?
St. Peter told him that's bad.
Was he generous, giving money to the poor or to charities?
No? St. Peter told him that that, too, was bad.
Did he do any good deeds, such as helping his neighbor?
Anything? No? St. Peter was becoming concerned.
Exasperated, the Saint says, "Look, everybody does
something nice sometime. Work with me, here! I'm trying to
help. Now think!"
The man thinks for a minute, then says, "Well, I did help
this old lady once. I came out of a store and saw that a
dozen Hell's Angels had taken her purse and were shoving
her around. I threw my bags down and got her purse back,
then I told the biggest biker there that he was cowardly
and I spat in his face."
"Wow," said St. Peter, "That's impressive! When did this
happen?"

"Oh, about 15 minutes ago," replied the man.

LDV, did you hear that joke on Rob Arnie and Dawn this morning (98rock)? I thought I heard the beginning of that as I was pulling into work.

BTW, Finals are not over for all of us...mine start up on (get this) May 17th!!! Yeah, that sucks pretty bad. I might try to make it to a midnight show up in Sac, then go study right after like I did for Episode 1. That final was easy (english 1). The upcoming final on the 17th is a little harder (Chemistry).
