O.C, CA What is you favorite SW movie?

ok i admit that before the PT harrison ford was my bubba...but i have to be realistic

i'm 15 and he is what, 50 sumthin'?

during EP1 i was all about ewan (i was 11 at the time) but when i found out he was married w/ 2 beautiful daughters i settled down

but then i found out about Hayden Christensen and figured he's not that much older than me

so he's my new bubba! (actually he's not all that new cuz i found out about him when i was in like tha 7th or 8th grade cuz i watched 'higher ground', his tv show on fox family)

 

good point KGJ, it was great seeing lady jedi...my wife cheered...very interesting garb too...

i mean, natalie portman is pretty but that whole scene by the fire place where she was saying that falling in love would destroy them...umm...did ne1 else notice the out fit she was wearing? it seemed a little tacky to me.

 

That ourfit was hot! What are you talking about? Granted it's not the same as slave Leia but come on you can't knock that can you.

yeah i admitt it, she looked hot but when she was having that conversation with anakin i was a bit inapropriate for the piont she was trying to get across

think about it:

jason...it i was wearing a a tight leater/strapless dress would you take me seriously if i said we could go out together?

 

And George Lucas designed thew firplace dress... not really any of the others, but jeez... GL! wow.

Although as long as we're talking about HOT in AOTC....

Yeah, that outfit was HOT. I personally find that whole scene (by the fireplace) to be unbelievable.

Padme: "I'm gonna wear this sexy dress and then tell you that we can't be together"

Anakin: "My heart is tormented. We must be together!"

right on SRB...women are such teases...men never tease...except in retaliation...oh, yes back to the babe subject..how about padme's night dress?...in fact the whole balcony scene was a little steamy....anakin in his undershirt...front open..

 

I agree, but I think the wedding gown really portrayed her beauty though. I thought that dress was awesome.

 

My personal favorite dress of Padme's was the blue senatorial gown she's wearing immeadiately after the tragedy at the landing platform.

It's so sad, so powerful and the music is AMAZING. After we say AOTC for the first time, He and I would always say "I TRULY..... DEEPLY.... Love you... and before we die I just wanted you to know" and other lines from SW. Unfortunately, he didn't like AOTC as much as me and only saw it twice. Ah, well. I love it enough for the both of us.

While we're talking about Natalie's clothes, IMHO, she looked the hottest the morning after Anakin's nightmare...when he's meditating on the balcony and she's wearing that sheer white thingy. With a gown like that, her presence was REALLY soothing!

Anyway, my fave SW flicks:

1. Empire (heartstopping!)
2. Clones (pure joy and exhilaration)
3. A New Hope (little did we know...)
4. Jedi (everybody loves a happy ending
5. Phantom Menace (needed a little bit more fighting, but the story was great)


By the way...how were the digital projection screenings at Irvine Spectrum? I only saw it at Big Newport (sound ROCKED!)and Century 25-twice.

 

Natalie/Padme looked great in all her costumes in AOTC!
My favorite outfit was the off-white belly-baring number she wore on Tatooine, just before Anikin left on the speeder bike to look for his mother. (*makes sounds of a wookie in heat*)

 

AOTC has been really popular with younger kids, i think. My two youngest sisters (11 and 15) who, although they are by no means fanatics like myself, really love star wars movies. But they stoutly state (haha alliteration and stuff it's funny )that's AOTC is by far the Best one. It's actually both of their favorites!

I mean i loved AOTC, but i can recognize that it has many many falwas/weak spots. Has anyone else seen younger kids favoring this movie?

11. Lando's betrayal, redemption
12. C3PO's blasted off (If only you attached my legs, I wouldn't be in this ridiculous possition!)
13. Carbon Frizzing Han

 

Ok my turn.
My fav would have to be ESB, cause it was the first one I'd seen. My dad took me to go see it and I remember the excitement of standing in line, hearing all the people talking about Star Wars. Then seening it on the big screen I was hooked. The battle scene on Hoth was great and those AT-ATs were really cool looking. So here is my list of the five in fav order:
1-ESB
2-ROTJ
3-AOTC
4-ANH
5-TPM

 

1 - ESB (great love story, great duels, great Harrison Ford. need i say more?)
2 - AOTC (ok, the love story wasnt all that great, by Hayden looked great! and ewan wasnt so shabby either. the fight scenes were ultimate, especiallly yoda)
3 - ANH (sweet, classic, nice coming-of-age story, the heart of the series)
4 - ROTJ (the last duel was spectacular! i die every time i watch it!)
5 - TPM (great action and great liam.)

 

I've changed my mind, I like ANH, more than TPM.
