Speculation What single moment are you anticipating the most?

I am anticipating the few hours *after* the film, on this forum, with the post-screening circus in full swing.

 

I'll be thrilled to see Harrison Ford back as Han. He's gone on record saying he doesn't want to play that character again. I hope he changes his mind. It won't be Star Wars without Han the man.

 

I can't wait to see what crappy movie the trailer for Episode VII plays under!

 

Considering how advanced digital video playback has become, perhaps I'll refrain from shelling out 15 bucks for a ticket to a crappy movie just to see the trailer in theatres.....

......NAAAH

 

I hope it plays next to an Adam Sandler movie so I can walk out of it when the trailer is done!

 

Wing Commander II: The Happy Gilmore Girls

 

I can guarantee that they'll say "I have a bad feeling about this..." in the new movies. They say it every movie. It's a reoccurring theme, just like people's right hands are cut off. I wouldn't be surprised if someone's hand is cut off too!

 

At some point Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie, and maybe even Lando will on walk on screen together.

The release of the teaser trailer.

 

Sitting in a movie theatre in November of 2018 and seeing a trailer that ends with "The Saga Concludes. Spring 2019"

 

I think hearing something as mind blowing as this will set me off:

 

Seeing the Falcon again.

 

The opening scene: Space, a Destroyer, and the scene opens with Luke on the bridge. Another Destroyer appears from hyperspace and the Captain and Luke exchange words, he introduces his Ensign, Daala, a red head with an unnecessary eye patch, and suddenly the Destroyer explodes.... Luke recoils in startled shock and then .........................

 

I am looking forward to the death of Boba Fett.

 

taking my then 12year old daughter and 10 year ld nephew to see the movie will be surreal.I still can't believe this is happening.

 

Besides the moments mentioned in the OP, Leia's first appearance, and the unveiling of what has happened to her in her life.

Also, the new hero/young Jedi, and Luke training him or her. But then, we will probably have that leaked to us before the movie is released.

That moment when, about 20 minutes from the end when I need a bathroom break and it becomes a test of wills.

Like most of you, the opening crawl and accompaning music, first igniting of Luke's trusty green sabre, and, hopefully, Mara

 

I'm anticipating that 'I am your father' unanticipated shock moment which blows our socks off.

 

The first view of Luke. Or Leia. Or Han.

 

Come on, guys, why would we want to see the demise of our hero?

Anyway, I like to see a grand space battle with beautifully designed ships/fighters and the Rogue Squadron doing what they do best.

The Falcon (upgraded I think most likely) in action with Han, Chewie, Leia and C3PO in the cockpit.
