which file?

    For those who use scifi3d i have a question. when getting thier models do i want the 3ds or max file? is there a difference or advantage to one or the other?

    What program are you using? If you're using MAX, obviously you'd want the MAX file.. 3DS is pretty much only good in the old DOS-based 3D Studio program (before they went MAX with Windows). Some people are still under the delusion that 3DS is a good conversion format, but it's badly outdated by today's standards.
