Come and join Chicago Force in the 1st Annual WhirlyBall game, to take place Sunday, March 16th, at Lombard ?WhirlyBall? 800 E. Roosevelt rd. Lombard, IL. From 3:00pm ?till 5:00pm.

    What is WhirlyBall???

WhirlyBall, dubbed "The worlds only totally mechanized team sport" is best described as a combination of "Hockey, Lacrosse, Basketball & Polo" played while riding an electrically powered machine, similar to a bumper car, called a WhirlyBug. WhirlyBall is a new sport, and is played by two opposing teams of five players each. Each player rides a ?WhirlyBug? while using hand-held ?Scoop?. The object is to propel the ball called a ?WhiffleBall? into a 15? net in the center of a backboard situated on both ends of a 4,000 sq. ft. court. It's an easy game to play and is competitive for everyone 12 years and older and 4'6" or taller (sorry no Jawa?s).

So if you are interested, (no experience necesary) start posting your MSG, or e-mail us at Events@ChicagoForce.Org
More information will be posted soon.

Another Up-date; you don't have to pay if you want to join us. To play is $20.00, to come and party with us is FREE. There is only space for 20 people to play, so enroll A.S.A.P. if you want to play.

Hey Jodo, Good luck; and Matt, I have some MEMORIES from last year (our blaze of glory moment) at least we won Paintball last year.

I am going. I got an email saying where to meet up to get a ride so I am going.
I am not competative but for some reason when I play this game I am out for blood.
Plus it is really hillarious to see everyone try to be all coordinated playing basketball on a bumper car.

Don't forget to send your payment in advance. Pay via Paypal to paypal@chicagoforce.org

I've never played before, but it looks like fun. It looks similar to the Buzz Lightyear game that was at DisneyQuest.

For those not familiar with the area, here some's landmarks. The entrance for Whirlyball is at a stoplight. There is a Wendy's and a KFC/A&W combo at this light. There is a Franks Nursery & Craft within, the Whirlyball place is set pretty far back from the road. You'll probably see the Frank's first. If anyone needs more landmarks, let me know.
