I am partial to 006, just because GoldenEye ranks up there with Goldfinger for me, but, if I were to vote a seperate way, Scaramanga would be my second vote.

Voted for Xenia, but always thought Chris Walken in "A View to a Kill" was the most cold-blooded. For crying out loud, he shot his own men in the back while they were trying to escape from the disaster about to befall their HQ!

    Scarmanga.

I would have voted for Blofled (though I refer to him as "Ernie") if it hadn't for for his magically changing hair and face.
Treylavan was pretty good as a villian, but he seemed based off Scarmanga too much, IMHO. (Haven't watched Goldfinger or Dr. No, though)

Just a nitpick, but shouldn't Oddjob, Jaws and Xenia count as 'henchpersonnel'?

Ernst Stavro Blofeld. In my humble opinion, he was the best James Bond villian. It just goes to show how much ingrained into pop cinematic culture this character has, when he is given a homage into the Austin Power's films, ala Dr. Evil! :)

My favorite Bond villain is Elektra King from TWINE no doubt. She screwed with everyone's minds; Renard, M and Bond.

Not to mention being the first main female villain. (Rosa Klebb worked for SPECTRE). Being female also makes her eligible for the best Bond girl. And she snags that one to, IMO.

And Sophie Marceau's superb portrayal of her was the best in a Bond villain or a Bond girl to date.

Hands down the best villain is Ernst Stavro Blofeld as depicted by Telly Savalas.

I'll go for Dr. No - during the Diner with Bond and the girl there was this perfect line of Sean Connery about everybody being a genius - I am afraid I can't quote it exactly.

Other than that: X.Onatopp - REDHOT, the hottest of the Bond hotties.

Blofeld when he wasn't played by Telly Savalas. After him comes 006.
