I've recently subscribed to an e-mail thingo with "This Is True" news or something like that. I finally found a story worth taking out and sharing with you...

SITH SENSE: Inspired by the Star Wars film "Revenge Of The Sith", Mark
Webb, 20, and Shelley Mandiville, 17, decided to get a video of their
own "light saber" duel. Not having access to Hollywood special effects,
the couple from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England, filled two
fluorescent light tubes with gasoline and lit them on fire. Burn unit
doctors say they have a 50 percent chance of survival, and police are
trying to find the cameraman to learn more about what happened. (London
    Evening Standard)

(I gave up at 46,000.. lol.. sorta cheated though. move the saber to the top or bottom and go away for 30mins or so, the drones kill themselves and cant hit you)

Anyway.. anyone else seen Earth Google? It's damn neat. Although, you sort of need to have somewhere in mind that you want to look at. And the search thingy is kind of.. not good.. sometimes.

I've been playing with GoogleEarth for a couple of weeks now.

The only problem I have is that for areas outside of major cities/towns the scan is not as detailed. For example the town where I live is barely recognisable, but I can make out a car sitting on my mother in laws front lawn.

This has probably been posted before, and you're probably already seen it before, but I hadn't so I'm posting it. I thought it was funny and I'm pretty sure I've broken almost all of the rules in it, but still... Posting and You!

    That perfume is hella funny...

Soup sent me this e-mail today:

    Why ARE Men Happier ?
Men Are Just Happier People-- What do you expect from such simple creatures?
Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care
of themselves. Chocolate is just another snack.

You can be President. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white
T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park. Car
    mechanics tell you the truth.

The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station
restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think
of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add
character. Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your
chest when you're talking to them.

The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected. New shoes don't
cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time. Phone
conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A
five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own
jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If
someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.

Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than
enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to
see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original
color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to
    shave your face and neck.

You can play with toys all your life. Your belly usually hides your big
hips. One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons. You can
wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a
pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.

You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes.

    No wonder men are happier

    StarWars ROTS Subtitles ;)

(ps - you shouldnt buy pirate dvd's full stop anyway)

I think this has been said somewhere before, but still:

STUPID, SOME ARE: Police in Janesville, Wisc., responded to a report of
an armed robber at the Ramada Inn hotel. Witnesses pointed to the
suspect: a man wearing a "Star Wars" Stormtrooper costume. But he
wasn't trying to rob the place; he was a vendor at a science fiction
convention, which is held annually at the hotel. "Apparently some
people who saw him felt there was a threat," an police spokesman said.
(Janesville Gazette) ...These aren't the droids you're looking for.

    I got this from ThisIsTrue.com
