MidSouth Wizard World Texas cancelled for 2009

    Wizard Entertainment announced today that it has postponed its 2009 Wizard World Los Angeles show slated for March 13-15 and cancelled the Wizard World Texas show November 6-8 due to the current economic climate.


    Well, can't say I'm shocked. The LA show is a surprise of sorts, but really, I don't go to Wizard World to see wrestlers. I mean, can't you get any media guests OTHER than has beens? :p

    Well, since many "hot" celebrities want imo ridiculous guarantees of tens of thousands of dollars for a couple days' appearances, it could be saving WW a nice chunk o'change.

    Hopefully people will change their plans and try out other events like MidSouth Con and ALL-CON :D
