I find it interesting that Hawk was the first one to respond.

Then again given the munchkin's usual form of address, it would not surprise me if he is one of Hawk's "Watched Users"

Been ages since I even checked how many I have. 3200 now
I can still lay claim to being the longest standing WA fanforce member, including the old fanforce forums. I was there at the start.

 

Are we counting the current username, or adding up the posts from all my other ones?

BTW - I don't know if congrats are really in order, it's just showing how much of a little geek you are...

 

I'm curious as to why one would bother to keep track of such a thing .

 

Sames. It's just there so people can boast about it and get attention I think.

Who remembers the stars? The more posts you had, the more stars you had next to your name. The decision to drop them was a rather onrovercial one at the time.
Or in the old forum when people with only a few posts were padawans, more posts gave you the title of jedi knight and the moderators (who became CRs when we moved to this forum) were jedi masters.

 

The boards itself are what keeps track of it. It says in your little bio section how many posts you've made. But why people brag about it, I'll never know. I mean, it's funky when a thread reaches however many replies/pages (like the bitchin box) but individual post counts are only fun if there's a goal to reach (like soneil said).
