Your favorite comics publisher?

When I was a kid, I would've said Marvel, but now Dark Horse has all the licenses I like.

 

Marvel since I was nine but Dark Horse is seconded because of Star Wars and Aliens.

I voted for DC, but I honestly like Marvel just as much. Although, I will be the first to admit that the DC editoral staff needs help with several of their titles. Some of the things they've done lately are really upsetting many readers.

DC can be a bit old fasioned.

A bit sexiest and where did ever see a black, hispanic, Far-easten, itallian and Asian people in there comics ?

Dark Horse, although they could put out more trade paperbacks, since I'm not a collector. Especially of Star Wars Tales. But I do like the scripting of Marvel comics. Very clever. Just finished reading Comic Wars about the Marvel takeover.

 

I voted DC because batman is my favorite.

I only read Dark Horse because they publish Star Wars comics. Otherwise I don't read any comics.

Marvel all the way But Dark Horse puts out some pretty great stuff too

 

For me, this was clear-cut DC.

Firstly, in their core line, they have titles like Robin, Teen Titans, and the JLA. Jack Cross is also there, though I have no idea why it?s not in one of the specialty imprints. Those are decent, as good as the average competing Marvel titles, not quite so good as the Marvel Ultimate titles. But DC also has its Vertigo and WildStorm imprints. Through those, we get Lucifer, Fables, the Authority, 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, Desolation Jones, Neverwhere, and the best backlist in comics with titles like Preacher, Sandman, My Faith in Frankie, Bloody Mary.

So, DC beats out Marvel. When Marvel does superheroes really well, it does them better than DC doing superheroes really well. But otherwise, DC beats Marvel.
