    currently i am addicted to HP, so i will have to J.K. Rowling. but i love J.R.R. Tolkien.
    so those are my two fav authors.

    JRR Tolkien: I simply love "The Hobbit" (my all time fave :D) and LOTR.

    Tom Clancy: "Executive Orders", "Cardinal of the Kremlin", "Clear and Present Danger"...I've read those books time and time again.

    And I suppose I should add my two fave comic book writers: Jeph Loeb ("Batman: The Long Halloween" and "Superman for all seasons") and Greg Rucka (who also wrote the superb novelization for the "Batman: No Man's Land" arc :)).
