And I thought he couldn't do worse than Behind Blue Eyes.

Seems I was wrong. Very wrong.

    Here cleanse yourself.

I know. It's like watching someone step on a pretty flower.

These two are horrid as well, I really can't stand Creed, Stapp in particular. Curse Robby Krieger for taking part in it.

Further On Up The Road is good.

I've been looking for Clapton and Beck on Beck's (well, Stevie Wonder's) "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" from one of the Secret Policemen's balls. Now that's some amazing soloing from the both of them.

    In celebration of me scoring tickets to Eric Clapton's only New Zealand show on this tour (and he hasn't played here since 1990), I'm on a Slowhand bender (more than usual) and found this strange gem;

Dr John & Eric playing a rearranged "Swamp Funk" version of Layla.

The concert I got tickets to sold out in 15 minutes, it's open air in a vineyard (I saw Ray Charles there at the first such event 14 years back). Limited to 25,000 tickets, middle of summer (27 Jan) and deep in the best Wine Country in the North Island. 7 hour road trip! Can't bloody wait. :D

Oh and Here's Clapton, Sheryl Crow & David Sanborn covering Hendrix' "Little Wing" in the same style as played by Derek & the Dominos back in the early 70s.

Both were posted already, and the Dominos didn't have a sax player. ;)

George W. Bush does a cover of "Sunday Bloody Sunday." :D

Right you are regarding the previous postings of those clips. My bad. At any rate the whole thing was an excuse to brag about my Clapton tix. :p

So, uhh to compensate here's some Elton John with Guns N Roses

    1. Bohemian Rhapsody (also with Queen)

    2. November Rain

I hate that performance, it woulda been brilliant but whoever ****ed up Slash's distortion needs to be shot. The second solo is cool though.

    Bush covering Wild Horses

I don't know if it's unexpected but I saw it years ago on Leno and loved it. This thread caused me to see if it was on YouTube. Anyone know if the released it on a CD?

Ah, yes I remember that performance. Very nice. I have never seen it released on CD however, and I was quite a big fan back in the day.
