No... the Pevensie children stay relatively young in all of the books, except The Horse and His Boy (it's during the time period when they are adults and reigning in Narnia as Kings and Queens). They get progressively older, but never become adults. The Magician's Nephew is a "prequel" that deals with the Professor as a child, so the child actors won't matter as much in that movie either.

The main characters in each book:
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy
Prince Caspian: Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: Edmund, Lucy, Eustace
The Silver Chair: Eustace, Jill
The Horse and His Boy: Shasta, Bree, Aravis, Hwin
The Magician's Nephew: Digory, Polly, Queen Jadis
The Last Battle: Eustace, Jill (joined later by Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy)

I'm reading Everything Bad is Good for You (Steven Johnson)... pretty good so far. It's about how today's Pop Culture has become interactive and is shaping our cognitive skills. I'm also [supposed to be] reading Henry Kissinger's Diplomacy and Winston Churchill's My Early Life. I've read the first two and last chapters of Kissinger.. hopefully I can finish it before he comes to UT in March. happy

Read it last year. I actually liked it. I love a good conspiracy, though I have to admit it does seem to lead you by the nose a bit. Almost put it down permanently sometime in the first chapter. Not sure why, but I just didn't like the writing "style." Not being a literary expert I don't know how to articulate it any better. It just rubbed me the wrong way sorta, like it started out kinda cheesy. Got through it and eventually finished it up on audio. (Played out much better in presentation format) Looking forward to the movie due out shortly.
