I will be hosting the party. June 11th works best for me as I have no desire to go to Saturday night's CMA concert at the coliseum, but I could probably manage almost as well on the 12th. The last weekend of the month will be more difficult, so please pick that only if you can't do either the 11th or 12th.

Wasn't sure if we'd have enough time to poll for a decision so I was just going to make a command decision this weekend, but this way is better. Thanks Glenn! I think a get together at your house is the best plan so far. I see no problems with doing props & cooking out at the same time. Not everyone may be interested in doing props, so they can watch the grill instead.
Attendance is our primary concern at this point.

ya'll have fun..I'll be busy. Too bad the two could not be seperated.....i'm sure props will take over the whole day and those that just want to socialize will be left out...ahhhmm...looking after the grill....

Zach, as was mentioned by mulitple folks on the costume thread, a costume workshop will take up all the available space and having the BBQ at the same time will be a distraction. I'm sure those that need help on costumes and props would like to be able to attend the BBQ as well, but if the two are combined then it screws everyone!

Just because Zach says we can do props and the BBQ at the same time doesn't mean that we can, nor does it mean I offerred to have both simultaneously.
Personally, unless you have no interest in costuming, I think watching other people work on props and costuming can be very interesting. There are plenty of things to talk about at the picnic and costuming might be one of the main ones. I would think it's more inclusive than, for example only, the Stargate discussions at previous picnics.
In addition to looking at my stuff from SW Weekends, I'll probably bring over all my MR stuff from my apartment. We can play the new Trivial Pursuit game and possibly, well let's just say that I may be able to get my hands on an illegal DVD of tremendous interest (that everyone has already seen in theaters). I won't have all the news footage compiled, but I might be able to put it all on a video tape. Does anyone have access to one of those projectors you can hook a laptop into?

Seriously I thought thatw as a fake movie till I browsed the living section and glanced at the movies. I thought Zach had made up a funny movie title at the premiere when we were all joking about "what movie we were going to see."

I could probably bring a few Star Wars X-Box games, if anyone would be interested.
- Revenge of the Sith (including lightsabre versus mode)
- Star Wars Battlefront (2-player cooperative or versus mode)
- Republic Commando (4-player versus mode)
- Lego Star Wars (2-player cooperative story mode)
I also have a couple of the Jedi/Sith X-Box controllers that glow blue or red during game play.

Guys I don't have a preference for an event this month. Costume, BBQ, illegal copy of "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"  , underwater basket weaving, etc. The biggest thing is just to get together. Now, I'm leaving town for the week for an audit in Chattanooga. Shannon's already said she was out on this one. So I leave it up to y'all to come to a concensus on what is to happen. Since Glenn is likely the host for this I confer on him the title of "Commander of the Week" (or acting CR, whatever). When I get back to town Friday, hopefully y'all will have this all nailed down and I'll see y'all on Saturday (or whenever if that changes due to CMA stuff).
Feel free to call me on my cell phone for whatever. If you don't have the number I know Hama, Scruff, Obi-TN, JediAgent, Toymaster, jedichic07 and a host of others have it, so get from them.
