OK, troops,
Franklin, TN's Pumpkinfest on October 29.
This'll be our 3rd year for this one.
Activities start at 10 AM and run til whenever.
Food, crafts, realestate agencies, banks, ballons and kiddie-rides. Don't forget to dodge the tractors.
FREE parking in the garage behind the courthouse.
I plan on being there early.
Rendezvous point will be the street corner where we were pinned down for photos last year.
Might as well get a Rouster going on this as well

The 501st will hit the street about 10 AM. We will meet at the statue in the square and move out from there.

Troopers. I hope I am not intruding on your forum, but I have a question/request. Was it your troop or do you know who was responsible for the characters at the Movie Gallery near Nippers corner on Sat. Nov 5th? I would very much like to speak with someone about potentially haveing some of you at an office function in the future. Thanks for your time.

The troopers were the local members of the 501st Legion garrison, and some of the FF members here are also members there (myself included). To go to the 501st boards go to this link: Southern Outpost Boards. The local in charge trooper is Skip Curley who you can find on those threads under the name "SL100". Hope that helps you.

Actually I think he may have come to the right place first, as on this forum he and Skip can PM about such info, and on the SO, he can only come on as a guest and not communicate privatly.
I'm sure any dual members will be happy to communicate about a future event!

Hi all,
I know this is several months late, but I wanted to say thanks to the group who came out to the pumpkinfest in October. I was there with my 3 month old son, who was dressed as Chewbacca (a really tiny one!) and have a great picture with some of you. I was thrilled to stumble onto this site, and find thread.
