ok, so my mom was at JoAnns in cool springs and saw these 2 SW pattern 'bags'-1 for leah/padme costumes and another for jedi ...for like .99 each!

but, uhm, how do all you jedi's out there make your costumes? Anyone made it from these patterns?
are they any good?

thanks

happy I don't know if anyone here has used the patternns but i read on the props and costumes forums that with select modifications tha patterns are actually quite useful. and for .99 cents, one can afford to experiment!
BTW, props and costumes-

Hope that helps!

Also, if you are not an accuracy freak, those patterns will do nicely with no modification, in my opinion! alien_1

yeah, they seem to be a doable "generic jedi"....

Mine had a base of a simplicy 5840, but it was modified. The sleeves were longer so that they could have a deeper hemn, and then the tunic was lengthened from what the pattern had. The tabbards and Obi also had some minor tweaks too, but I don't remember the exact amount. We didn't use the facing that they had in the pattern with the tunic, as it is hard to get a square facing to fit a round collar.
