well, we seem to have a problem agreeing on what do do about a host page, or something like that, and the person that set up the account a while ago is AWOL.
So, I would just bookmark this forum page, and see how long it holds out.

We have now officially lost the nashvilleforce.com domain. So what do people want to use for the domain name now? nashvilleforce.net is available as are most other endings or do we want to change to something else like starwarsnashville.com?

does it cost money to buy the nashvilleforce.net name? or any of the others? so we need to design a new forum/website?
And are there enough members that would like to keep this going?
Is NAD worth saving? I'm not saying we have to meet monthly, or throw parties......I think a more relaxed social forum would be more likely to survive, just like we have now. Kind of build back from the ashes- no CR or any other leadership roles, we know where that goes. All we really need is a board moderator to keep things sane and friendly.
What do you guys think?

It will be $8.95/year for nashvilleforce.net or a slightly different .com address. Several people have volunteered to host the website.
I don't think it will be hard to design a new website.
I think NAD is worth saving. I think not having a website has hurt us tremendously this year because nobody looking for us could find us. The website would be a central place to list events and post photos. We also haven't been able to do mass emails. While there aren't movies, there are still books, comics, and tons of toys and collectibles out there. And there will eventually be new TV shows.
I think a lot of people have migrated to doing 501st things because they do things. Our event last month was the first one since Buffalo Wild Wings. I think we could easily do a game night or something during the week on a monthly or weekly basis. Chattanooga supposedly has a weekly game night. Perhaps we would alternate having board games and playing video games.
