I've got two tickets to see Bon Jovi on February 14th (7:30 p.m.) that I no longer need or want. I paid $85 apiece for them, but I'd be willing to sell them for half of that just to get rid of them.

OUCH Dylan!  That stinks that you can't go.
I hope you find somebody to buy them. Have you thought about eBay? From what I just saw on their Nashville ticket listings, you could probably at least get face value back if not more.

Actually, I put them on EBay yesterday. I've got a $100 bid, and several people watching.
FYI... it's not that I "can't" go. Wendy and I broke up last week, and neither of us want the tickets.

Glad to hear that you at least made your face value back. Maybe you could go treat YOURSELF for valentines day with your extra profit! You'll know exactly what to get too. 
Another Wing Ding sounds great! This time I'll make sure I hunt down the waitress before I leave money for my tab with somebody else.

Sorry for your situation Hama. I truly canot fathom what it would be like to be single in this day and age after 20 years of marriage. I have a few pics of you from C-III in your Indy-Aussie get-up with blaster and your choking escapade with the renegade wookie.
I wish we had a Wild Wings out here, it brings back awesome memories of C3. If they ever build one - we will immediately take it over as our official restaurant of choice.
On the plus side of things, we finally got a fanforce put together here in Padukie. We have an awesome group of about 35 of us. We had our first major event and charity drive - by showing the entire saga over a weekend at the local library conference center. I hooked up my surround system in Digital 5.1 EX and two of our members brought a large screeen - so we had the Saga big and bold with the sound shaking the building. We had a bake sale, a popcorn machine and concessions - and of course we all dressed up and had lightsaber duels between movies. We had two members who are 501st conscripts don the armor and we had a few Jedi plus Yoda come to greet the festivities. I tried my hand at some facial putty for Emp but ended up looking like the incredible melting man.
Arnie and Marjorie of Star Wars Action News podcast came on down and we had a ton of door prizes, auctions and raffles. We raised a good chunk of change for a local charity and made a good impact on the local community.
It was a tiny slice of C-III, but sadly, no wings.

I did not get a chance to sit down at C-III and do the diorama thing with the Death Star, so the fact we are going to do it in March is going to be a ton of fun. One fella wants to try and make a version of the Palitoy Death Star out of foamcore and cardboard. Lots of great ideas, all we are lacking is someone who does figure customizations.
Have a wing for me and enjoy folks! Yes.....terriyaki wings, mmmmmmmm-good.
