The article is in today's paper. It's at the bottom of page B-1 (Local News). Not much to see, though. I only had one quote out of my entire interview printed. Oh, well.

Found it. Here IT is.
I thought it was going to contradict the chief's "NO Quotas" policy & get you in trouble with the big wigs. Its not as bad as I thought AND its the honest truth without being accusitory. I hope everything works out with this and I agree that something has to be done. At least you can file a grievance now.

The new grievance policy hasn't been approved yet -- just submitted by the Teamsters.
True, I won't have to worry about retaliation from the administration. All my controversial statements got cut out. The only one left made me look like a slacker.

I have a gripe about people FLYing down our road. it's 30 but THEY weren't! We were crossing the street and this car was coming, but a good bit away, the next thing i know chris was like "look out!" and pulled me outta the road! OMG! i did the "what the HECK?!?!"
hand signal at them and they flipped ME off!!!!!!   Good thing we weren't kids playing! They would have totally plowed thru them.
Then when we were walking the dog the other night this minivan just about tipped over at the curve it was going so freakin' fast!
we used to have a man hole that had a dip in it that people would hit when they sped, but then the city fixed it. DANG it.

Complain to your local law enforcement & they'll probably send a car out for traffic duty. Believe me, if people start seeing a cop car running radar periodically, they'll most likely slow down. In Franklin, you just don't speed because there seems to be a cop car on almost every corner (whether there is an actual cop in it or not).
