And you just missed one right outside of Nashville in Franklin called MTAC. (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention) It was this past weekend.

I was there, at MTAC. My geekery knows almost no bounds (I haven't fallen to Comic Side yet) and I did happen to see some familiar faces there this year. Chewbacca, R2D2, Jaina Solo, a few Stormtroopers and a handful of Mandos (Mandalorian hunters/Boba Fett recolors) showed up. There was a Giger Alien there too, but yeah. R2. Beep!

Hey Nashvillians!
I actually used to be one until I moved out here to the big Colorado.
Just curious if anyone going to Dragon Con is looking for roommates, etc, etc.
I was actually thinking about flying INTO nashville and then if anyone was heading down. That way i could visit friends before I took off.
Just thinking outloud. Thanks in advance!

Nice Dooku outfit!!!  I hope y'all had a good time & that it was worth the 7 hour drive (unless you flew). I wish that I could have been there.

It was definitely worth the drive although it wasn't quite that long. (It was about 6.25 going up and part of the reason it wasn't under 6 was all the rain slowed us down. I think we got back in well under 6 hours.)
I have to wash my hair three times to get it all out.
My pictures of the grand opening of Where Science Meets Imagination at COSI Columbus (many taken by Trooper Mom) are up at www.glennstein.com. Unfortunately, I filled up my disk quota, so the larger images are available for only the first 9 pages of images right now.
