Meeting space needed
Everything is cool. The storm gave a few blocks from my house some hail, but we got a little rain and that was it. Dan saw a funnel cloud in La Vergne, where he works. I cannot believe they did not put them in the tornado shelter!

I think it was only a warning, not a Tornado Watch. Hail was definitely in the forecast, but they were doubtful of an actual tornado...

A watch means that conditions are right for a tornado to form, but a warning means that one has been spotted or there is rotation. So a warning is bad. A watch could be bad. Sorry, not trying to act like a know-it-all! Just want you to know this because i

They do that sometimes. I decided to learn the difference because I am scared of tornadoes.
I moved here from Maryland and I never saw so many storms!

Yeah, I also looked it up. Could have sworn that they meant the opposite. But I looked at the Fox 17 website for confirmation. My previous sourse was very wrong.

I used to get them mixed up. I have to correct people because around here it is important to know the difference. I have been here for 17 years. It is amazing the technology they have on the news stations with the weather. They can pinpoint the storms down to the driveway. On Channel 5, I have seen them pinpoint driveways and parking lots. Well, as they moved their cursors across them.
