Very nice. Looks good so far. You should talk with Brandon. He's been thing of doing one himself. I found find some nice piece this past week on Ebay. He'll know by Friday if he wish to pick them up.
Where did you find your from? The set I found him run $29.99 + shipping. IF yours was a better deal let him know. He's all about saving money.
SeeYa,

Hey all. Thanx for the kudos. Well i paid a whopping ten bucks at Walmart. yeah thats right walmart. On the dented helmet I saw plans for trash can armor. Decided it was cheep enough for me to try out. I got the WOF plans to trace them out.The next step is to find a bucket at a decent price. I found a couple on eBay but were hurting for cash so I couldn't bid on it. (thinking about selling my pro patriots helmet) I also gata figure out the thigh and chin pads. I think i can get more trash cans at walmart for that. Then I was thinking about toilet brush holders for the knee pads. Then the big thing is the back piece. Might try sintra for that. As far as the flight suit Ive seen some good ones on ebay and I have an army surplus store near by I'm going to look in. So check out http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/ The dented variance is my favorite place to hang out. Lots of great ideas for customs.
Oh as as for the meeting. Both me and T will be there. I just need an address so I can google directions. Its been a long time and I'm not sure I remember how to get there.

So Andy,
How is this coming? Any new pictures? Did you ever find a body suit? And what are you doing for a back pack? I know Brandon has been looking on line for one. I was helping him with it time he was over. I'll tell you what those thing are NOT cheap and NOT easy to come by. I wish you both the best of luck!
Can't wait to see the update.

sadly i have no updates on the mando. I think my next step is to get some sintra and work on a back plate and thigh and shin pads. as well as get that flight suit. if any one has a tip on using sintra id be very happy to hear it. Ive some some work with sheet styrene so im not overly new to plastic. this will be a slow project but will keep ya all posted. as far as a back pack i may just go with a cape like in that pic i did with my colors.

Hey Andy,
Sound good. I'd have no problem helping you out. I've work with the stuff before it's not hard to work with, you just and a VERY good heat source. lol Seeing as you are not looking to do this realy fast. You may just get luck... and me and Steve will have a vacuum form up and running later this spring. That way we can just press you out the sheet you need. lol
Well good luck, let me know if you need or would like any help.
SeeYA,
TK

I have some lumber and lots of hardware that I will donate to the vacuum table (for a contracted share of future profits...haha). I will ask at the dump when I am there today about getting heating coils from an old oven... As for a generator, I would suggest running a 220 line for the heating elements wherever you plan on setting this up (easier when you have a house). It will be far more convient and cheaper in the long run.
