I was way off. It was Jake's guess, and once he said it, I couldn't see anything but those letters... Where was that pesky hammer when I needed it??

Hey Guy's
Brandon I'm looking for heavy casters. About 3" in size. Let me know what you have and I'll try to get them from you sometime this week if I can. I'd like to have the changes done this weekend.
So...
I have started the first set of form from the Mando armor. They have been set and lined. I should start pulling the first one off this weekend I'll let everyone know how it goes. Keep your fingers crossed. If it works I'll have cheap armor for the whole group.
Your welcome.....
So I'll let you know how it goes!
Later,
TK

welcome to the boards J3D1_KN1GHT. You have some great costumes there. I have a jedi costume And I'm working on my mando costume.
TK... Sweet man I cant wait to see them. Im at such a stand still right now. But after next month we wont be so tight on cash that i should be able to get more materials. Including sgnt. fangs mystery helmet. So you think it would be odd to have some plastic and some sheet metal parts? I'm worried it will look silly. Thats why I haven't started with the metal yet.

I'd say it all going to be in how you paint it.
After that the only way anyone well be able to tell if it's plastic vs. metal is if they touch it. And for the most part I don't believe your going to have a lot of people running up to you feeling on you.
Although you just may...lol Oh your SO HOT!! Can I touch You?!

Hey J3D1_KNIGHT,
Very nice. Your armor looks great. The Tie is coming along nicely. Best of luck on it. I think when I get the rest of my stuff catch up that will be the next suit I do.

I'm still thinking of doing a Short Trooper down the road. So heres what I'm thinking. I may have brought this up, I'm not sure. I want to do an at-rt driver. I just think there cool Not to mention I still cant find alot of peeps that have done one. Heres a pic.
This is the paint scheme I want. I think the armor is just like the other clone troopers. (TK can you verify?) The bucket I've found on Star Fortress. I think its decent. They have 2 versions. Heres a pic of the first one. And they also have a commander version thats not pictured.
Here's a link to the sight. http://www.starfortressproductions.com/swempireclonetroopers.html
OK I,m done rambling now. except to say say i decided to redo the mando in metal for the chest and I can do the back plate to on this one sheet of metal. Progress pics to follow...
