Okay, here's the deal with the meeting!!
Meeting date & time: December 4th, 11:30am
Location of meeting: Anthony's (Lifesabre) office in Howell, NJ
Afterwards: Christmas Village at Allaire, in Allaire, NJ for holiday fun, followed by dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse in Howell, NJ.
We are not going to collect for the Hurricane Relief this month, we will be collecting for the Hurricane Relief at the January meeting.

Thank you everyone for attending the meeting today! It was a very good meeting, as always!
It was VERY nice to finally meet Jerry! We hope we can see him again soon, and next time, we promise not to do anything outdoors until the warmer weather 
As for next meeting, it will be determined on the NJO boards. I'll update on these boards as soon as we get the date, time & location.

The January meeting will be at the Barnes & Noble in Freehold to coincide with our 2nd year anniversary. Afterwards we will be going to Chili's a la the 1st meeting also. A date has not been set yet however.

January meeting has been voted on, and it will be on January 22nd, at 2pm. It will be at the Barnes & Noble on Rt. 9 in Freehold, NJ. We will be going to eat afterwards at the Chili's next door, and we're also celebrating our two year anniversary!! If anyone needs directions, please PM buster726.

I just got an message from DarthGyos about your meeting on the 22nd, but I cannot PM back as I do not have much messaging ability, I have to reach 20 posts.
Will there be a Star Wars Film discussion at the meeting? I have a ton of questions but I'm nervous about asking them.

I don't think I can make the 22nd, one of my charges is having her birthday party that afternoon. Possibly February, pending date & time.

All the time. Sometimes we even watch the movies and talk about them that way too.
Does everyone own a costume?
I'm not sure if everyone owns a costume...we may all have costumes but costuming is BY NO MEANS a requirement. We do costumes because it's become somewhat of an obsession...well at least for me anyway. But you don't NEED a costume to join the group. All you need is to love Star Wars.
Is it mandatory to attend every meeting?
Absolutely not. If you can't make it to a meeting then don't worry about it. There's always the next one and that's what our njo forums are for...to find out what happened at meetings/events. However I should mention that to become a FULL member, you must attend at least 3 meetings/events in a 6 month period.
Everything is explained in a lot better detail at our private forums so if you venture over there you'll get a better idea of who we are and what we're all about. I hope that helps!

It's a bit intimidating to meet with a group right off the bat, and hopefully this will make your intro to the club easier.

We do discuss the movies at meetings. Costumes are NOT nessasary. Every person has their OWN level of obbssesion with Star Wars just bring that to a meeting.
