Oh I'm VERY interested!!
The handles are a little rough causes marks on hands (evidence)
but the blade it 1 1/4" SOLID oak and it is not moving at all!!! Can do some serious damage with that.

May want to concider putting some rubber on the handle. Maybe make a custom handle just for it.
Also for the "blade" I had an idea of using a real wooden bat. Cut off the end and place it on the handle. It would have to be a plan wooden bat for the next part.
If you are dead set on the current blade , lets skip to the next part =P
Have someone wood burn into the blade some fancy logo of the Lucasville Slugger.
All I have for now. Let me know what you think. Hopefully it won't be with the slugger.

Thanks, Johnny! As long as they're nice witty comments, I'm looking forward to seeing them. 
The Lucasville Slugger should be encased in something that says, "Do Not Break Glass Unless Emergency" but then again RJ would be spending a lot of money on new glass.

I had a great time with you all at Celebration III.
I wish I had awoken in time to join RJ in line for Lucas..even though he was disappointed. Even knowing I still would of went with you.
I loved our discussion on the origin and creation of the Lucasville Slugger.
Sounds like a good idea for a meet , instead of a light saber building meet how about the Lucasville Slugger builders meet.  I got some nice ideas.
How about a "dummy" for RJ to practice on...put a flannel shirt and beard on it... swing away RJ 
Oh man I was so tired each day by the end of the con I was asleep most nights bt 10:30
Had a great time in 1203 and at Ram.
As always the costumes were great guys.

Lucasville slugger club? Very intriguing. time to start a yahoo group LOL!
As I told Ant when I waited in line on day 1. I am at a Star Wars Convention for 4 days sleep and food are secondary to Star Wars!
Also L.I.C. is on the way bought some of the materials already!
