Just to clear up the blurry line between advertising a site and spreading the word about stuff you've found online, here's an official thread for telling people about sites and stuff you've found on the net. Seen a funny site, something out of the ordinary, something cool, or something completely random? Post a link to it here! Just remember to keep it PG, boys and girls. wink

It was sent to me, I also came across another one, that is far less nice, and not suitable for a PG rating!
How did it scare you? Oh Speakers on too loud were they?

TheSpark.com is always good for a laugh. Unfortunately it's barely changed at all since the second-to-last time I visited the site (close to a year ago). If you've never been before, be prepared for crass humour and some especially funny quizes... if you like crass humour.

www.whereis.com.au

If you haven't seen it, it's basically a street directory - but the best part of the site IMHO is the Driving Directions: you type in two street addresses (in Au), and it will give you street by street directions to get there ...

That's the wonderful part.

The weird and wacky part is that it's run by *gasp* Telstra ...

Telstra providing a valuable service for free?!?!?!? That IS weird and wacky!!

I had a bit of trouble getting onto whereis.com.au, but www.street-directory.com.au is essentially the same and just as handy. happy

I didn't exactly findThe Halo WartHog Jump so much as I went looking for it.
I'd been told about it a while back, seen it before and decided that I should go download it. I actually grabbed it off Kazaa, although it can be downloaded from the site itself.

The movie itself is three and a half minutes long and details what is described as "a Halo Physics Experiment" - Using Grenades to launch an Army Jeep, and the men standing on the tray, flying into the sky.

It's also worthwhile to note that the guy is pretty handy with a rocket launcher - he hits the jeep mid-air as it's making its descent back to the ground.
