Free Hugs
Now, I don't know if any of you actually even encountered the "Free Hugs guy" in the city last year but it just happens that he is my fiance. His best friend who is in a band (Sick Puppies) wrote a song about him and recorded a video of him doing the free hugs thing and has just released it on YouTube. The song, All The Same, is going to be available on iTunes very soon.
At the time of posting this, this video has 179,633 hits since the 22nd (today being the 25th).
Now, I'm not posting this to advertise the band, but because I want to share with the world my very amazing man. I'm so proud of him. Yes, I'm sitting here crying with pride and love for this incredible man. So please, watch it and feel the love. I didn't know "Juan Mann" last year when he was doing this, but now I understand what he was talking about when he tells me about this.

Nah, it's cool. Trust me, I'm stopping myself from responding to the comments saying things like "he just did this to cope a free feel" because I'll get myself far too worked up about it and it'll take away from the video and what it really means. Well, 10, 000 was the goal so they didn't need to keep going, to be honest I'm not sure if they got anymore sigs! Plenty of offers on YouTube to keep signing it though
Ok, I'm posting this here just to let you guys know - PLEASE don't tell people Juan's real name, where he lives, anything, this whole thing has spun out of control and the wheels are in motion for even bigger things to start happening. So if you want details, information, anything from now on please PM me and I'll give you the details of the person to contact. So if you have posted this video elsewhere and people have been asking you for more information, send it through to me and I'll make sure it gets to the right place. And yeah, obviously, don't give out my details anywhere, we both have unique last names, we'll be pretty easy to find, so we don't want to be.
So yeah, I can't say anymore on a public forum. It's all pretty crazy if you ask me. This thing has taken over my life.
I'm posting this in the Personal thread too, not to spam, but just to make sure everyone knows the deal. Last thing I want is people knowing things they shouldn't.

Don't think I ID'd him on my LJ, except for saying he was your boyfriend. Let me know if you need that edited (But my LJ is locked up pretty tight).
Also, just in case you two haven't done this yet, he needs good representation NOW. This has the potential to really blow out and you want to make sure that Juan is going to benefit for his 15 minutes.

The LJ thing is fine, friends locked is fine, coz you can't find it in a Google search.
As for your show, well, uh, we're working on it.
And yes, he does have a manager, this is why I've been asked to say all this stuff. He got one in the early hours of yesterday!
Watch ch7, 9 and 10 tonight and keep your eyes on the Telegraph and the Herald over the next couple of days. Apparently there are interviews happening today. The clip was shown on Good Morning America (it's on the front page of their website) and a few other major websites have asked to put it up.
When I left, he was writing up his free hugs sign. I hope today goes well!
