	The film opens with a huge space battle between the Republic (now sporting saucy new technology) and the Seperatist fleet. It's not short and it's big, bigger than RotJ space battle, there's a ground war raging at the same time a planet below (possibly where the Wookiee contingent comes in). While it's not confirmed, it's looking like Anakin and Obi-Wan board the Seperatist flagship and confront Dooku, Anakin kills him within the first 15-20min of the film. The Sepratist leadership is not present at the battle, they might have a brief chat with Dooku via hologram before he dies but they're all together at another location, several of them die at the same time. * Padme is very pregnant but trying to hide it with concealing robes. She's still a Senator and will stay a Senator for the duration of the film. * Palpatine has a scene where he exits a shuttle to great adulaion from gathered Senators and Jedi, flanked by several red Imperial guards. * There's a new bad guy working for Sidious that's not Durge or Asajj Ventress from the Clone Wars series. * There is a small part alotted to an unnamed EU character, someone who has an elaborate costume with an established colour scheme, a costuem that had to be redsigned to actually be worn on a human frame. Somebody will be swinging two lightsabers at some point. Bail Organa has a chase scene on Coruscant in his swanky red speeder (will possibly involve an assassination attempt and Mace Windu). * Not all the Jedi Council are left alive and fewer are on Coruscsant, several have to "phone-in" their presence to a Council meeting via holonet because they're off commanding clone squadrons across the Galaxy. * Sidious will give Anakin his Sith name and it will be clear to the audience by that time what the name "Vader" actually means. * There's a meeting of Senators in Padme's apartment on Coruscant that looks like it's the precursor to the rebellion. There are many Senators present including Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. * There's a new race that has actor Bruce Spence as their leader, billed as playing a "friendly alien leader who harbours an outlawed Obi Wan Kenobi". This species is very tall and thin, taller and thinner than a human and wear large cloaks that cover them from neck to toe. * The new Jedi Starfighter (resembling the old Jedi Starfighter bodies with rounded TIE fighter cockpits) will be in the opening battle. * OT sets include Bail Organa's consular ship the Blockade Runner Tantive IV and the bridge of a Star Destroyer. * The Obi-Wan and Anakin duel takes place in stages, at times they swing on wires and fight on landing platforms with debris flying past them in a very strong wind. The lighting is predominantly red and there are times of very tense dialogue bewteen them. The stuff that I saw on the webcam looked amazing, a long corridor or walkway with bright yellow lights every 2/3ft on a paved stone or mosaic-looking floor. And they go at it too, the floor widened in the middle and they kind of met there, it looked like Obi-Wan was lost or something and Anakin was blocking his path......very freakin cool. * At the start of the film it becomes obvious that Anakins friendship with Obi Wan has only gotten better since his promotion to Jedi Knight, as has his friendship with Palpatine. 	And from the recent interview with Liam Neeson, it appears that Qui Gon's rumoured return in E3 won't happen ... certainly not after the way he trashed the prequels. ouch. -----signature----- . 	I think the only way a Imperial Guard costume would need redesigning would be if they actually had to move at any great speed...which if so would hopefully mean they'd be seeing some action. but the distinctive red colouring would have certainly been there with minimum fuss to the costume department. So maybe the EU character is Carnor Jax from one of the comic series (can't think of the name off-hand), a former Imperial Guard. I imagine it'll be a very smal part because it's playing no part in the overall storyline. There's apparently also some EU points being changed by the film, something involving the Jedi Council and something involving dialogue between characters about how much one of them knows about Sidious' plans....all very interesting, no? -----signature----- http://www.millenniumfalcon.com OMG I LUB U

	EU char in Ep3. Hmmm, this needs a top ten list. That moustachioed gypsy Chewie replacement in the NJO? The Kind-of-Hutts-only-different from the Han Solo tril? The entire planet of force using witches riding rancors that are all stronger than Vader, nerny nerny ner? No wait...
