For the past 7 or 8 years you guys have had to put up with me saying "I'm going overseas next year!" and it never happening. This year's a little different.
I may have said it, and then I thought it wasn't happening, so I stopped saying it. But now I can quite confidently say it. I'm going overseas next year. Another empty statement, you might say. Nope, it's happening.
My flight is booked. It's on.

Congrats Ki. Ben and I have been saying the same thing, but we are finally going over to the US as well leaving New Years Eve. Hmmm tis the time for holidays.

Travel's pretty exciting. I leave in just under 3 weeks to Osaka, where I'll be spending NYE, then onto Kyoto, Hiroshima and Tokyo. Then London, Wales and Ireland...then a bunch of places in Canada. I should come back the day before uni starts late Feb. So if I don't see you guys at the Christmas party, I probably won't see you for ages after...

We did a lot of driving today for my mates Bucks stuff... Go Karting out at west somewhere, then Wisemans Ferry for lunch, then laser skirmish at Peats Ridge. Kinda sad knowing one of my best mates is getting married, end of an era and all that. But we love his fiancee and all, many people found it wierd a girl was participating in Bucks stuff but we've been a group since we were small
So hours of driving and only each other for amusement, looks like we've settled finally on going to China and Taiwan next year. 2 of the boys wives/fiancees are from China and one's from Taiwan so it will be fantastic with all 6 of us + partners if we can pull it off. We've been talking about it for years, we really just need to do it.

I thought I'd revive this thread only because I had personal Star Wars news -- Lucasfilm took down my Clone Wars music video clip! I don't know whether to be bummed out about people not being able to see it anymore or excited that a Lucasfilm pleb was one of the 15,000 odd folks who got to watch it.
