What: Indiana Jones IV screening
When: Thursday 22 May
Where: George St Cinema?
Who: Us geeks and nerds
Why: What do you mean, why? It's Indy, he needs no explanation.
So... who's up for it?
We have only 20 days to go, and advanced tickets have now gone on sale.
I was thinking George St, as that's a pretty central location. There is a 6:40pm session and a 9:30pm session (plus a 7pm Gold Class one, if people prefer).
Please post if you wish to come and your preferred time so we can get this underway and purchase tickets.
This is the biggest thing since the last Star Wars film so let's all put in some effort!

Im in. Just as a heads up though: I saw Iron man At George St last week, and tickets were $17.50. i havent found if thats everywehre yet or a George St thing, but if it IS just George St, maybe we can save some money by buying in advance.
Something to be aware of anyway.

$17.50 is the price for the G-Max cinema, I just had a look (although their normal price of $16.00 isn't exactly cheap either  ).
All the Indy sessions are G-Max so yes, it will be $17.50 a ticket. Are people ok with that?
Also, it's allocated seating, so:
Do we want to try and coordinate money for the tickets going to one person to buy the lot in one shot so we can sit together? Or shall we just buy our own tickets and then on the night, meet up for dinner, go to our own seats to watch the film, and then meet up again post film?

My sister acquired tickets to a charity screening at Fox at 8:30 through work, pretty much the whole family going with assorted partners.

And does anyone know about the premier the night before? I'm tempted to go along, not to see the movie since tickets aren't available, but to see who turns up *shrugs* might be a bit of fun.
