The reviews on Assassins Creed are largely on the money: Fun, lame AI on the NPC's, awesome graphics. not the best game out there, but certainly an enjoyable one.

The penny arcade take on all the ac reviews was the best thing about that game for me,

Game reviews for me nowadays are getting even stupider.
Gamespot sacked their top guy after he have kane & lynch a 6.0, the gamespot website was literally covered in adverts for the game and they claim that the score had nothing to do with his sacking, yeah right.
The best reviews you can get are the hundreds of people commenting on games at non affiliated forums where you don't get banned for honestly posting your thoughts.

I've just picked myself up a PS3 and Assassin's Creed, thoroughly enjoying it at present.
Though I'm afraid it will get neglected when GT5 Prologue comes out next week.
Are there many PS3 owners around these parts ?

See I am finding all FPS games these days very easy and predictable even on hard settings. Maybe I am so used to game play and the AI?

Finished Call of Duty 4 the other day. Best game I've ever played, by far. Such an amazing experence I won't soon forget. Up next, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, which I already have but am yet to start.

the original crimson Skies for PC is the best game ever!
Anyone else playing Vegas 2? Kart n i are looking for more people for Co-op. headsets would be best, we yammer a lot.
