They've kept this under wraps for a couple of years from hordes of SW nerds. Impressive, most impressive.

What creeps me out is the idea of having a WB logo at the start of a Star Wars presentation... worried

also i posted it about 2 hours ago or something, so its not like there has been heaps of time to check in.
It'll pick up again if the series does well.

And there is still the hope of a live action series.

So Jumper is out in cinemas today, I will wait until I see some reviews and Scoot's opinion before I rush out to view this one...

Edit: I just read the review from Margaret and David. 1/2 a star out of 5 from both of them? that's not a good sign.

Somebody has picked up my movie frequency... uh oh.

Seeing Jumper tonight. Rachel Bilson, woot. The Indiana trailers out in bootleg format across the Internet, so it may be a long shot, but I'm hoping for a chance at seeing this tonight before Jumper, otherwise I'm waiting for the 1080p trailer tonight some time!

Also forgot to post, but I saw There Will Be Blood. Slow as hell movie, but Daniel Day Lewis deserves all the accolades he recieves! He was great in this. Pretty ordinary film, but complete opposite of Hollywood. Id prefer to see No Country for Old Men win best picture (as much as Id like Juno to win - it won't happen.) but if There Will Be Blood wins, that will be a fair call.

just saw jumper,,, i like it but it was way to fast paced for me to pick up on anything that was going on,,,, one minute the mains were doing this, then going here, then teleporting there, then going to there... to much of that, 7.5/10

Saw Jumper tonight. i dont know what to think, Im conflicted. as a movie on its own, it wasnt great. VERY opene ended and lots of unanswered questions. the dude they had playing Young Hayden looked a lot like him which wa sa neat trick. haydens acting...well, it was better than anakin, but still nothing awesome, though rachel Bilson was very likeable in her part. Sam jackson was cool, but not given enough to do in his roll.

Aftr coming out i had the thought: This would have been a great TV show pilot. The concept and characters were interesting enough to come back for more I think, and id like to see what comes next. But as a movie on it's own? Nope, not enough there to satisfy.

All that said, i found my reaction as i came out was positive. I was ina good mood and my imagination was filled with ideas, and that always makes me feel happy i saw whatever film it is that caused that feeling. i give it a B.

I had fun with Jumper, but the movie was made for a sequel. I liked Griffin, the young Hayden looking mass like Hayden, and Rachel Bilson in the underwear.

Casting Kirsten Stewart in a 1 minute 'cameo' in the last 3 minutes of the movie is just asking for a sequel. I liked Sam Jackson. Michael Rooker and Diane Lane were good for their bit parts, but are always fun to watch on screen anyway.

I think Fox have taken a bit of a jump (no pun intended) with this one. They have made a movie ready for a sequel/trilogy, but Im guessing will all be dependant on Box Office dollars, either leaving a nice starting point, or an empty open ended single film. Hmmmm...

To be honest, what I liked most about this, was that it felt like Summer had almost started as far as the big blockbusters. Bring it!
