Not sure if anyone here is into this. But this is a new MMORPG that just came out.
I got it on tuesday(release date) and its very addicting.
So far I'm a level 10 undead rogue on the Durotan(east coast-normal) server.

I used to play Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo all the time. But I wasn't sure how Worlds of Warcraft was going to be. Is it expensive to play?

I was thinking about trying this out.
I have still been playing SW Galaxies, though not much and I have been kinda bored with it, then again I do have not had enough time for quality play.
I figured I will wait until after I am done playing KOTOR2 before I commit to another game since I am sure all of my time will go toward playing that.
For some reason I think I may wind up banned from a Console sytem while my fiancee is busy playing GTA:SA lol.
Is WOW too cartoonish like others are saying?

For some reason I think I may wind up banned from a Console sytem while my fiancee is busy playing GTA:SA lol.
Ahh that game.. so addciting. My boyfriend bought it for me like 2 weeks ago.. at the time i had my brothers fiance's playstation in my room -- but then they took it back. Now, i have my boyfriends playstation in my room lol. Its all i play hehe.

Being a fan of Warcraft, and after hearing that the game released with ZERO bugs(very unusual for a MMORPG right out of the box), I put an order in for the Collector's Edition of WOW. It's due to arrive Dec. 1st. via snail mail.
I have yet to complain about a Blizzard title. These guys n' gals take their work as seriously as Valve does(Valve being the the creators of "Half-Life"...of which the sequel, while short compared to the original, has many "Star Wars" mechanics combined with the Zombie chic of Romero's work and is worth the purchase).
Although I really should finish Warcraft III and get through "The Frozen Throne" before I delve into the MMORPG. 
I just hope the bully quotient will be low. :P
As for the graphics being too cartoonish, Warcraft visuals have always had the cartoon-esque sheen...but they are VERY detailed at that. One look at the cinematics for Warcraft III is evidence of this.
I look forward to bringing a Human Fighter up to speed, if not a Night Elf.

I might do a Night Elf for my second character.
I've been spreading my time between this,Halo2 and Battlefront(plus the sports leagues I'm in on X-Box)
Price wise- regular game is $49.99, collectors is $80(I got the collectors since I love the art books and soundtrack...got that for WC3 too)
Monthly is between $14-$16
They've had a few minor bugs...though nothing major thats affected me.(main thing was overpopulation on some servers at first caused a little lag for some)
Cool thing for me and one of the reasons I love Blizzard....they make their games compatible on MAC and PC, without having to be a totally seperate release with seperate servers.
Let me know when you're on and where and maybe we can hook up(you can make additional characters)

I played KotoR again today. I was going to pick up Battlefronts this afternoon but with all the money I spent last weekend I really can't afford it now. Maybe later.

As much as I want to try WOW, I have decided to wait until sometime next year or whenever I am through with KOTOR2. I just reserved my copy.
With KOTOR2, SWG and GTA:SA, no time for WOW. LOL

It works out for me that I know Amanda will be addicted to KOTOR2, so that will give me an excuse to stay on my MAC.
So far I've been averaging an hour or two a night with WoW.(and still getting in some Halo2!)

I'm sure I'll be hanging on KOTOR 2 when it comes out...
But you'll never guess what I picked up after finishing Half-Life 2 since, quite honestly, the hip-hop flavor of San Andreas is keeping me away from it, for now...
SimCity 4, Deluxe Edition(which has the accompanying "Rush Hour" expansion pack).
Any of you "Sims" players need a city regardless of fat budgets my financial planner complains about after about 20 mins into city-building? Let me know.
Then I ordered WoW...and then I realized that I hadn't finished WCIII yet...DOH...
Last night's single-player Night Elf chapters had me screaming in frustration.

MAn am I completely addicted to this game!
Thank god..since my wife is hooked on KOTOR2.
My main character is turning out to be my Dwarf Hunter who is now level 12.
