what exactly are you looking for? Wre have lots of comic shops in the city, the best being Midtown Comics & Forbidden Planet. Also in November there is a huge SCI FI Comic show in the city as well.

Just looking for anything that might interest / amuse a scifi geek while they're in NY. Sure, I'll be pretending I'm not doing normal touristy things as well -- hey, it might be my only visit to NY -- but was hoping I might also experience some NY geek culture.

Jeez, how can you stand the heat and humidity in this town?

But anyways, what I've seen so far of the City is great, people here seems like they are nice.

You need to listen to "There Is Life Outside Your Apartment" from one of the greatest Broadway shows ever, "Avenue Q." That'll tell you what NYC is really like.

Omar, it was great that you were able to come with us and see an extra bit of NYC that most haven't seen in decades. Plus you got a small bit of Brooklyn in your travels, and no NYC travel is complete without Brooklyn
