I tell you, I wish I had stayed there. It looked cool. It was in a good location, and it would have probably saved us a bunch in cab fares. How did you guys get to the convention centre from the hotel; was there a shuttle service going back and forth? I know Dana's hotel had one. Did you guys have the same setup?

Yes there was a shuttle bus. I either took that, a cab or the DASH bus (only $0.25) from the Bonaventure to the Convention Center.

The Fig was great. it was a 10 minute walk to the LACC. Cristina just had to deal with the whistles and 'holla's from the construction workers.

If C5 is in LA also, I'm definitely booking the Fig (a year in advance, of course  ). I thought our hotel was a lot closer to the convention center than it actually was. Looking on the map, I saw that it was about 7 or 8 blocks away from the entrance of the LACC and figured it would be an easy walk. Unfortunately, I was thinking in terms of Manhattan blocks, not LA blocks.
I found myself comparing LA unfavorably to New York pretty often when I was there.
