Oh man, no comparison johnny . . . 'cept to say, finally they got a venue big enough, with enough elbow room and seats, and warm weather, and not-unreasonable lines to wait in. (The Store was actually a breeze to go through).
Great panels and presentations . . . especially a reunion of the Imperial Officer corps (including my usernamesake) . . . Carrie Fisher's, Irving Kershner's, and Anthony Daniel's forums were especially enlightening and entertaining . . .
. . . and genuinely weird, disjointed, and ultimately deafening Opening Ceremonies!

Tiring. I need a vacation after my vacation. Other than that, awesome! There were hardly any lines. The only line I waited about 20 minutes for was the Robot Chicken panel Saturday morning. The convention center was big, but not so big that you didn't keep bumping into people you knew (figuratively, not literally). I kept running into Piett (Kevin, not the actor) everwhere I looked. I swear I wasn't stalking you. LOL Also, the store was the size of a high school gym! The panels were entertaining. I even got to see Veroinca Mars (Kristen Bell) and Jimmy Olson from Superman Returns (Sam Huntington) during the Fanboys panels.
They even gave out birthday cake during opening ceremonies. Mine was decorated with a Threepio ring. The ring was a child size ring, yet it still fit me so I wore it. LOL Opening Ceremonies also apparently had a Boba Fett flying around usaing a jetpack but I missed him because Rob and I left a bit early to avoid the line getting long for checked items (they made me check my C4 shopping bag).

Lucky. Our team was on the waiting list, and we didn't make it in.  I got to see some people competing in it, though. I was at the TFN/FF table for quite a bit and we had several teams stopping by to use Dingo's laptop to look up answers.
