I celebrated the 4th by watching the fireworks from a plane headed east from Newark. The timing was pretty much perfect. tongue

I got to Paris on the 5th. The fifth was with me, I guess. tongue CE was a blast, but alas, it's over and now it's time for me to come home. This trip was ridiculously expensive and cost me a ton (tonne?) of money I don't really have, but it was definitely worth it. Paris is beautiful, London is full of great people, and CE was very exciting. The crowd here was much more enthusiastic than at C4, I think because it was the first European one. Despite the overcrowding and the long lines, I had so much fun.

It's funny, though. No matter where I go on vacation or how good a time I have there, I always have the biggest, goofiest grin on my face when the plane is landing and I get to see the city I love from the sky. Geez, I'm such a sap.
