Rachel here, and I really really miss New Zealand!
And now to business... Over this summer, the chapter representative of Santa Cruz, California had an idea to send her fried Interactive Yoda around the world on a tour. We gathered over 50 fanforces and sent the little master on his way.
We sadly overlooked many fanforces, and after several requests to be added to the tour, we have decided to open it up once more. Currently, the little Master in on his way to Wales in the United Kingdom. He's going all over Australia, but I want him to go visit NZ as well!
If your fanforce would like to participate, please send me a PM as soon as possible. We are closing the sign ups on January 1, 2006, but since Yoda will be heading over to Oceania in a few short months, the sooner, the better! All we would need is a person willing to be Yoda's "tour guide" who would take care of him for his 2 week stay in each stop. *coughDeancough*

Update:
The website is almost finished. However, our webmisstress' computer crashed, so it will take a little bit before we can finish it. There are several text mistakes on the website (for instance, she listed Canada as being part of the USA  ), but other than that, it is nearly there! I will let you know when it is finished.
As for Yoda himself, due to an error in the French Post Office, Yoda was sent back to Wales. We are currently preparing to try to send him to France once more.

Update:
The website is now up in 3 different languages (English, German, and Spanish.)
We've been having problems out the wazoo getting the little guy to France, so we've finally decided to just skip France and move on to Germany. I hope that the tour won't break down any more so the little guy can finally make it out of the UK!

Hi guys! Yes, this thing is still going on. Well after nearly 2 years, the little master has finally left Europe. His days of Euro parties, German Beer, and being lost 3 times has finally come to an end. He is currently in Malaysia and will be on his way to Singapore in a week or so.
After Singapore, Yoda's next stop was supposed to be New Zealand. Back when the tour was getting set up, Dean volunteered to take the little Master. However, from the looks of it, Dean hasn't been around. 
Is there anyone else in NZ that would be up to taking Yoda to show him beautiful Aotearoa? I'd love for him to see Auckland or Wellington or Nelson or Queenstown, though it'll make me miss them all more.

Wow, nice timing, Dean!
Since Singapore's not answering either, the MySciFi group is going to take him there as well, so he won't be headed to NZ for a bit.

Yoda's on his way to New South Wales, finishing up his tour of Australia. He's scheduled next to go to New Zealand before he takes his long trek across the Pacific back to the United States.
