Just curious to know if there are any people here who also live in or near Dunedin. Thought it might be interesting to meet up with them.

Things are hummin' along nicely. Kids growing like 'shrooms. Job going well, considering another offer (within same firm).
Lots of winter driving to and from Central Otago. Have been involved with a comnpany take-over. Mainly auditing and getting them up to scratch for the big move on to our WAN. IT, computers, network, bla bla bla.
What about you SFL? Still saving those critters?

Yea, my work's bumping along. Winter's been quiet as per usual. Started my own company www.ffenz.co.nz earlier this year. Got approached by a big company in the industry to lead a team doing bird monitoring for a proposed windfarm down south. week on week off. My other main client just signed with that big company and so I'll be getting all his clients that can't afford to follow him, and any work he drums up, he's going to contract me to do it. I've also spoken to other departments in that big company and their freshwater ecologist wants to use me this summer as well... plus Auckland Regional Council stuff, and resource consents for subdivisions etc...
going to be a busy summer... just waiting for spring to start so I can get into it.
