SithForceLord posted: Hancock(?) looks a half pie decent movie, I wont see it at films I doubt but DVD rental. Anyone seen it? Is it crap or ok?
Only seen the trailer so far, but looks like it should be pretty good for a laugh. Mind you I've been a Will Smith fan since Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Went to see "Before the Devil knows your dead" in the weekend wif' me missus.
Good flick. Keeps you guessing until about 5 minutes towards the end.
BTW: Opening scene is gonna wake you up....... (not appropriate if your are on a first date)

Hancock was an interesting idea but it is not a consistent film. Sort of in 2 distinct halves that don't quite mesh for me.

^ Please tell me you are fricken kidding.
That looks like just another steamin pile of **** from Eddie. The man hasn't produced anything decent in the past 10 years (apparently Dreamgirls excluded, but who really can take a movie serioulsy that gives an Oscar to an American Idol reject), except voicing donkey in Shrek, where he is brilliant.
He needs to stop doing this lame kids comedy type crap and get back to the filthy no bars hold humour that made him famous.
Let's tale a look and exclude the Shreks:
Norbit (2007)
The Haunted Mansion (2003)
Daddy Day Care (2003)
I Spy (2002)
The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002)
Showtime (2002)
Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001)
Bowfinger (1999)
DEAR GOD MAKE HIM STOP, MAKE HIM STOP NOW!
And before this Beverly Hills Cop 3 which was great.

Saw Get Smart last night.
Bloody good laugh. Not too slapstick like the TV series. Good gags, laugh out loud fun.

TDK was great. Man talk about busy though, I have never seen theatres like this except for SW. So took a few days more than i thought to actually get round to seeing it.
Ledger was awesome, Nicholson can lick my sweaty ****, Ledger IS the Joker. Best part of the movie is the pencil trick, just wait until you see it! Echart is great as Dent and Bale always delivers. A long movie though and at times it seemed to drag. Unsure if i rate it above Begins though. Will need another viewing.
So NZ still got another week until it comes out? Stink one. See it in IMAX if you can, apparently it will blow your mind.
Wow that was a rambling post.

kinda weird how everyone knew Bruce was Batman though. Alfred; a given. Morgan Freeman, his girl then the geeky guy who wanted to blackmail him etc... not that many when you say it like that but it had the feeling in the movie that lots of people knew... unlike the tv and earlier movies... then again, im sure alfred couldnt build the batmobile so i guess someone else had to be around to do that. extra backstory which is nice in a way
oh and awesome backstory for two face, how / why he goes nuts and how he got his two faces and awesome graphics / make up.
