Considering mine is the first vote for IE... I wonder if people are NOT noticing that the Radio (and Bar) are ABOVE the option description...

Well Wolf... after reading through the posts above mine... I saw at least two others... Cowgirl for one stating she uses IE... and yet mine was the first vote... so my guess they miss-voted, or didn't vote...

I've been saying that IE isn't secure for sometime, (not as much here...) Read this:
"The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team touched off a storm this week when it recommended for security reasons using browsers other than Microsoft's Internet Explorer."
First story
In related news Wired is saying the widespread Internet Explorer security exploit last week and CERT's subsequent recommendation that IE users should consider switching to another browser has resulted in a large spike in downloads of the Mozilla Organization's Mozilla and Firefox web browsers.
Second Story
Edit: This took many edits due to the very wierd IGN board code...

RE: What is your Internet Browser?
In even BIGGER news Apple, Mozilla, Opera and basically everyone that ISN'T Microsoft are teaming together to make a new plug in standard. This is HUGE news because there will finally be a plug in (ie Flash, or Shockwave or whatever else) that is truly multi platform, one click install and powereed by the biggest names in the business. However, only Mozilla, Firefox and Safari are planned to be able to use the plugin (I have no idea why there isn't news of Opera support yet. But apparently it's coming). This could easily wipe out the Emperor's slavery throughout the galaxy. I mean Microsoft/MSN's hold of the browser market. (BTW this is Mitch. Too lazy to sign out and sign in my own name. I feel pretty).

RE: What is your Internet Browser?
So now there's a universal, albeit vague sounding plugin... ok so now there will be annoying, intrusive banners and ads on ALL platforms.
Ok well it's no shock that IE isn't a decent browser. Mind you I'm not buying into the idea that all the other competitors are scheming to make some "plugin" to rival Microsoft. Are we assuming the sites and networks will be using this plugin, only working on the non-IE browsers? If that's the case there's no choice, and it's almost like a monopoly. And thought they all hated companies which did that.

RE: What is your Internet Browser?
Makes no sense to me? What kind of plugin would it be that would be so exclusive that everyone without IE will suddenly have to switch?
Frankly I think just using the other browsers for a few days is more than enough to cause people to switch. Security concerns aside.
Once you've used tabbed browsing (My "home page" is 6 tabs) and experience the pop up blocking that is built into Mozilla/Firefox you'll be hard pressed to switch.
Actually as a web developer I am constantly seeing references to hacks to make IE work the way every other browser does when it comes to standards. The latest book I read on the subject
More Eric Meyer on CSS
is full of references like "Those of you using IE won't see this", or "This hack is to overcome a bug in IE's rendering" etc.
The professional web people know all about how seriously outdated and broken Internet Explorer is now (no updates in over 3 years!), and Microsoft just lost its web standards guru to another company. So I would personally love to have everyone see the light and switch to a better browser, but the installed base of IE is so large we'll be forced to work around its quirks for many more years.
Maybe we should start a campaign. "Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer."
