	This game has been approved by NaboosPrincess Xavier Institute for Higher Learning Many years have passed since the first Sentinel incident, and many could say that the next generation of heroes has approached. Many members of teams such as the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers have passed on or retired, leaving room for this new generation. But one such team has been re-established. The X-Men, once under the leadership of Professor Charles Xavier, now under the leadership of his son Erik Magnus Xavier, a half-Shi’ar half-mutant lad with extraordinary telepathic/telekinetic powers, Erik uses Cerebro to locate rogue mutants all across the Earth. Once located, he offers them a chance to join the X-Men and begin life anew and learn to focus and control their powers. One such mutant, the son of the Human Torch and the Skrull spy Lyja, John Storm II exhibited the quality leadership that could rival that of Cyclops himself. Xavier found Storm leading the New Fantastic Four, and posed the question of joining the X-Men to him. Reluctantly, he joined, and has currently been leading them under his Fantastic Four Codename: Solar Flare. Now, more and more Mutants are being recruited into the X-Men and have been attending classes at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. Students and teachers alike have been posed with missions such as dealing with Anti-Mutant Terrorist Groups and even a newly established Brotherhood. This is a serious roleplaying game is for serious and dedicated players only. If you do not know how to roleplay, or are extremely new to the RPF, you will be refused entry into this RP. RULES 1. Obey the TOS at all times. 2. This one is important so remember it: PM your character sheets to the GM for approval before posting them. I cannot stress this enough, because I would not want 13 Wolverine-type characters running around regenerating and clawing up everything. You have been warned. 3. No doubles of characters and/or powers. If someone is already a Fire user or a regenerative character, then think of something else. (See rule 2) 4. Canon characters from Marvel Comics are not to be played. They can be used for character backgrounds, and even character relations, but please keep it plausible. It would be rather odd to see the child of She-Hulk and Spiderman. So don’t do it unless the characters have happened to have a history together within the comics. 5. As hard as this is to follow, no God-Moding. Sure this involves superpowers and stuff that defies the laws of physics altogether, but that is why a character has weaknesses. 6. No other Super Groups other than the X-Men and Brotherhood are allowed for characters to be a part of. Other groups will be controlled by the GM, and no one else. 7. Side-plots are encouraged greatly along with any main-plot or mission set up by the GM. Love, pregnancies, and emotional issues are considered side-plots (Keep it PG if you’re going to do anything of the sort. See rule 1.) 8. Characters who happen to be teachers or part of the School Administration have a considerable amount of authority over students. Do not abuse that authority, because like any other job position, you can and will be replaced. Anyone wishing to be a teacher will be given a suitable enough subject to teach. (See rule 9) 9. The RP setting will mainly be inside the Xavier Mansion where students will be attending “classes” and teachers will be “teaching”. A set schedule for everyone will be posted at a later date for both teachers and students. 10. Posts are to be no less than a paragraph (and no not the paragraph format that is 3 sentences). Be descriptive as you possibly can in posts and no one-liners or any “n00b-speak” (See rule 5) 11. No killing characters without the players permission. Unless they say you can, its god-moding. (See rule 5) 12. Be as realistic as possible for the Marvel Universe. (See rule 3, 4, and 6) 13. Keep OOC to a minimum. 14. Two character limit. 15. Have Fun! 	Since Erik Xavier is an NPC, there is no need for me to post a sheet or for someone to play him. I will play him when he is needed. Alias: Solar Flare Real Name: John Storm II Date of Birth: December 13th, 1977 Gender: Male Age: 28 Height: 6' 2" Weight: 156 lbs Eyes: Blue Hair: Blonde with red and orange natural highlights. He wears his hair in a short, shoulder length cut. Personality: Storm has a short temper, which flares on and off with the rest of his personality. He is fiery, random, and unpredictable at times, but is more likely less of a brash young man and a capable leader. Weapons: None History/Background: The son of Johnny Storm and Lyja, John Storm II is much like his father in more ways than one. Growing up under the tutelage of the original Fantastic Four, he learned training scenarios from both Mr. Fantastic and the Thing. Scientific technology was always a favorite of his, and at age 18, he had been visiting colleges that study such material. His mutant powers arose much earlier in his life, coming full-circle around age 13. Training to focus his powers was easy enough, as his father aided him in controlling the flames. John grew up not knowing his mother, as she returned back to the Skrull Home world and never returned shortly after John’s birth. After focusing his powers completely, John became a member of the Fantastic Four and later became the leader after the retirement of the more esteemed members. After leading the FF for a good three years, Storm was later approached by the son of Charles Xavier and asked to join and lead the X-Men. Storm did not wish to leave the Fantastic Four so early, but the others urged him to expand his horizons in the terms of leadership and he reluctantly accepted. He now serves as the leader of the New X-Men and the Power Advancement Instructor for the Xavier Institute. History/Background: Catia was born in Moscow to Anastacia and Peter Korokov. They were both mutants, forced into hiding by the angry mobs that were hunting mutants down and killing them. Peter was killed a few months after Catia was born, and her mother sent her to America with an old couple. She lived with them until her powers made themselves known, when she was 14 years old. She left to go to New York from Montana, where she had previously been living. She taught herself how to use and control her powers, and lived on the streets in New York until she heard about the X-Men. She hunted down the Institute and asked to stay there until she thought she was ready to go back into the world. Jayden and his family had always been poor. There was also always drug deals, violence and fear put into the homes and streets of innocent families such as his own. His father had always been a dedicated construction man, but it just wasn't enough for Jayden to be raised well. When Jayden came to be 7 years old, his mother died in a car accident that somehow, even as a child, he survived. Since then he had been very easily angered, due to his troubled childhood. As his father tried to raise Jayden as a widower, it was hard since Jayden got involved with gangs and violence, but luckily never with drugs. Throughout the years, Jayden came to realized this would not help him solve his problems, it would just make everything worse. He was young and stupid at the time. When he was 13 years old, he and his 'crew' ran into trouble on the streets and were shot at. When they were cornered, the gunman was about to shoot all of them dead. But, out of his fear, Jayden accidently used his ice powers to freeze the gun into the man's hand. They were then left unharmed. After this, all his friends gave him the nickname "Ice". Since then he made his life a bit better, and trained himself little by little to control his new powers. On December of 2004 he left all his gang relations behind, and came to be a new young man. After his seventeenth birthday, he left his father's home, on a 'journey'. He had a loving, beautiful wife and a young daughter, who shared the same power he had - the ability to turn into pure steel. He trained his daughter in martial arts, and she was shoing amazing progress. One day, when Logan and his daughter were in their airplane firtilizing (sp?) their crop, the engine died, and the plane fell hundreds of feet. Logan's daughter died on impact, and he became diagnosed with amnesia. His wife left him a year after, and now he lives with his niece who cares for him due to his illness.

He was the third attempt at conception for his parents an older brother and sister had been still born before him. His parents primary jobs were in America, in the hot deserts. When young Edward became sick from the sun on his pale skin, his family decided it was time to settle down. They did so in New York City, where Edward began going to school. He discovered, there, his penchant for acting. This allowed him to become anything he wanted to be and not be saddled by his looks. Through acting, he discovered his love for all arts. He especially grew to love the look and feel to romantic era paintings. He made many friends, but sadly couldn't attract any girls. This frustrated him. He was nice, fun to hang out with, and made people laugh. Yet it was always the jerks who got the girls. This frustration led to the manifestation of his powers. Throughout his Junior year in High School, he used his powers for getting dates. But it always left something empty in himself, not to mention it usually resulted in a big misunderstanding between the guy he mimiced and the girl he'd gone out with. He hid his powers from everyone, until, at his graduation, he was offered the chance to further his education at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. Here he grew to harness his powers and use them for good. He was very shy as a kid when growing up and still contains that quality today. When he was eleven his powers first showing. In an unfortunate incident he electricuted his friend and blinded his mother. From that day on he ran away, only to return once at his parents' funeral. Living in Egypt most of his life, he has a nice tan and has grown accustomed to the intense heat of the Sahara. His powers further developed over time, and soon he noticed that he aged very slowly. At his peak of 34 he stopped aging. Adnúr has seen many atrocities over time, such as the Holocaust. He moved to America in hopes for a new life, but never had the chance to get one. Adnúr aquired the name of Sandstorm and has lived in the Institute for most of his American life.

Has some ability in phasing through small, simple objects (cant phase through a wall, e.g) Appearance: He wears loose clothing considering he is covered in blue fur, such as jeans and loose shirts. He wears no shoes since his canined feet wont allow them. He likes to wear fedoras. Other Special Features: Covered in short blue fur head to toe. To his knowledge none of his family has shown any sign of mutant abilities, but some have considered his Uncle to be "unworldly". His father was said to assassinate the Prince of Saudi Arabia, Abd Aziz Al Saud, his own Uncle. His father(whose name was forbidden by his mother to say after the incident, instead giving him the last name Lucifer) was captured and a twelve year old Abd and his mother fled to India, her home country. They moved in with his Uncle Karim Sunn Omar, his father's younger brother. Karim was a famous and well known mathematician, a lesser known chemist, and Abd's best friend. He would accidently kill his uncle when he was 14, hugging him. The acids that came from Abd's body melted through his uncles back, destroying his internal organs. Abd was devistated, fled from his mother and moved back to Saudi Arabia. There he met his soon to be wife, Al-Hadiye. Abd was desperate for money, and worked as a sevant boy for Al-Hadiye's father. Abd quickly caught the young girl's eye, but he was reluctant to talk to her, not yet knowing how to fully control his powers. He would leave his job three years later, when he would chase down a theif named Ali Hakim. Abd al-Rahman bin Lucifer had already figured out that the man who had stole his masters jewlery was the rumored Shadow Bouncer, Ali Hakim. No living man could move so quick, and travel from shadow to shadow. He had never been caught, and how could he, how could anybody catch one who moves through the shadows? Abd accidentally found out when tripped over a vase on his persuit. Being embarressed and not fully in control of his powers, he emitted his acidic gases, melting everything in the area. Being some time afternoon, there was no shadows once everything in the area was gone. Ali was expossed, but he was also struck in awe. The people outside of Abd's death circle had begun to get their barrings back, and were moving angerily towards Ali and the boy, yelling and swearing, calling him satan and other sadistic names. Ali gave him a chance to join him, live freely, Abd accepted, and Ali threw his cloak around the young man, and they fled through the alley. Abd would spend twenty more years with Ali, living freely and above the law, before he ran into Al-Hadiye again. Seeing her in a gentlemen's brothel he quickly struck up a conversation with the woman who was suprisingly not married. When asked why, she explained that her father was killed, the same day that Abd had disappeared. They went to a private room, one in which Al-Hadiye would try to kill Abd in. Abd was much more in control of his powers now, and when he seen a knife come towards his throat it disintegrated as soon as it was swung, along with half of Al-Haydiye's arm and face. She cried out in horror, as did he. He thought that the wounds would surely kill her, so he mourned her, she cried because she had failed. It was there that Abd would learn that Al-Haydiye could feel no physical pain, and that she held regenerative powers. The wounds would not be permanent. Al-Haydiye had tried to kill Abd because she thought that he was her father's murderer, something he quickly disapproved. He convinced her to join him and Ali, and the two later got married. The trio would become what is now known as "the Great Arabian Nights". That was years ago, and Abd al-Rahman bin Lucifer is part of no team, and nobody knows why. His hair turns blond and his eyes turn green. Additionally, Oroshi's strength, speed and endurance increase dramatically, and the resulting encompasing aura from the power-up grants him partial invulnerability. Oroshi has taught himself to release devastating bolts of energy thanks to his intensive martial arts training, and is able to perform great feats in this state. Aside from being able to perform spectacular martial art feats, Oroshi is also able to fly when thus transformed. Notably, this state affords him the passive bonus to accutely sense the world around him, especially the energy emanating from living beings. Personality: Oroshi tries to follow Bushido, but falls short due to his temper. He carries alot of conflicting emotions due to his non-existent family life, which makes him somewhat introverted. He finds it hard to talk about himself, although he likes to party and make friends, but finds that he quickly loses these due to his own social maladroitness. This leads him to spend countless hours at the dojo training and working out his frustrations. More than anything, he likes the challenge of a good fight. He rarely backs down from physical conflicts, especially around the 'hood'. Inwardly, he hopes that one day he can make his parents proud as a hero in the form of his Oroshi persona. That is, if he can ever learn to overcome his own dark depression. Weapons: Oroshi uses his exponential amount of 'ki' energy for various effects. Offensively, he can throw energy projectiles, generally refered to as 'fireballs' or fire focused beams of energy for maximum destructive effect. Defensively, he is also able to form spherical shields that protect against most energy based and physical attacks. Generally speaking, Oroshi employs his knowledge of martial arts for both defense and offense. History/Background: Iori was the love child of handsome "Louie" Santos, an aspiring music entretainer and Sakura M, a young japanese singer and designer also interested in the music business, who's father was an executive in a japanese megacorporation and unsurprisingly, vehemently disapproved of his daughter's trendiness. Against her father's wishes, the love struck sakura M moved to NYC to live with "Louie" and their newborn. All seemed well for a few years as Louie became a mild success in contrast to Sakura's growing international success as a designer. All was bliss until Sakura caught wind of "Louie's" shady dealings with local criminals. Faced with losing his 'happy home', Louie tried to leave the criminal organization behind, along with his upcoming record release, but as expected, leaving the "Fam" would be no easy task. A saddened Sakura confided her problems to a friend in japan, who in her best interest informed her father. Less than a week later, Sakura's friend urged her to leave NYC. Sakura refused, despite the fact that "Louie" had become violent. Days later, the local yakusa rubbed-out most of the "Fam" and Sakura disappeared. "Louie" was left with six year old Iori and was forced to flee the neighborhood. He'd never been the same ever since. Iori was six-years old. His father enrolled him at the local dojo to keep his son busy and keep him from crying. Although he'd never seen his mother ever since, Iori has had many step-moms, none whom he liked. He's even gone to japan, thanks to an anonymous benefactor who thought he should learn about his heritage. Especially seeing how he was winning many martial arts tournaments at such a young age. Today, Iori is subleting a studio apartment payed for by his meager earnings as a clerk at a local bookstore. He spends most of his free time at the local dojo. He has very few friends and aside from continually training and ocassionally avenging a mugging victim or helping an old lady cross the street, Iori is basically waiting for something 'eventful' to happen in his bleak life. One day, when she was 13, her twin brother Jayson and some of his friends, were playing tag with Rox when all of a sudden another Rox appeared out of nowhere. When the two Roxannes saw eachother, they screamed. The new Rox quickly dissappeared while the original one somehow jumped forward in time two days and quickly jumped back... then passed out. Once she recovered, she found herself in a hospital bed wondering where... and when she was. No one believed her except her brother, who had witnessed the whole thing. The next three years, Roxanne was told to forget it and to not try it that it was only a figment of her imagination... but she secretly would go into the woods and expriment. Then on her 16th birthday, after having a huge fight with her parents, she found herself face to face with herself on that day she had first discovered her powers. Unfortuantly, jumping three years backwards almost killed her. She was rushed to the hospital where no one knew what had happened. She recovered and was sent home. So, Roxanne faced her parents and showed them. She pulled them into the living room and told them not to panic that she was going to jump to the future... the farthest she could jump forward without losing energy was five minutes. So she jumped 5 minutes ahead. Her mother passed out and her father frowned. "So." He said. "You got the same gene your uncle had." His tone was so sad that Roxanne started regreting her powers. Her family, except for her twin brother, quite talking to her. History/Background: Alice doesn't know much about herself, nor does she apparentally wish to. Her mother is in an insane asylum, from the shock of finding out that Alice's Father was a mutant, and that there was a possibility her daughter was going to be one. Alice was placed into an orphanage, where she was made fun of for her appearences, and was quick to create a hard exterior. When she discovered her powers, She rarely used them except when she was alone, but she caused the old swingset to fall down on a boy who was laughing at her. The nuns claimed that the swingset was old, and dismissed it. She was found at the age of 10, and was taken to Xavier's school for Higher Learning. Usually, when inventing and thinking about things, issues have to be conciously pondered in order to be understood and learned. For Sonia, much of this takes place in the subconscious. This leads to an often unusually quick understanding of subjects. Appearance: Costume: Armored, tightfitting but flexable suit with sonic cannon attached on the right arm. Special Helmet to protect ears and jetpack to fly about. Everyday: T-Shirt and skirt, sometimes pants. Other Special Features: Wears a gold necklace. Personality: Her power makes Sonia quite the intellectual. Although generally nice when in a social situation, she is not prone to partying. Many of the principals of her weapon aren't fully understood by Sonia, thanks to her mutant powers. Also has a variety of other gadets not yet completed. [Think Stun Blast, Cutting Blast, and Blunt Blast for the Cannon's modes] History/Background: Sonia was born into a lovely nuclear family of a mom, dad, brother, and her being the sister. They lived a rather normal life, until an event turned Sonia's world upside down. When she came back from college at MIT for the Spring Break, she realized that her mother, father, and brother had disappeared without a trace. Her parents, unbeknownst to her, were abducted, tortured and killed by govenrnment agents for reasons unknown. Her brother is still alive, but no one knows where he is. He is very kind and he loves meeting new people. He hates to see people suffer unless of course he’s making them do it. If you piss him off he can become the most ruthless and merciless person you’ve ever seen. Weapons: Other than his abilities he possesses a katana that he received from a mutant he rescued. History/Background: Damien was born in Chicago, Illinois during the 1980’s. He is the oldest of three brothers and two sisters. After Damien was born his mother died and his father remarried two years later. A year after remarrying his father had another child by the name of Donovan. Damien and Donovan developed a very strong bond as they grew up. By the time Damien was 12 or 13 he began to develop his mutant abilities. His father then explained to him that not only was he a mutant but the whole family was. When Damien turned 17 he decided that he should do something about the unbelievably high crime rate in Chicago. He created the Dream Team, a super team of mutants consisting of him, his brothers Donovan, David, and his best friend Justin. One day while trying to rescue an Asian mutant that was being robbed by a gang, his brother David was shot. Then something weird happened, Damien transformed. His eyes turned pitch black, and he sprouted black horns from his head and a black tail and he became engulfed in some sort of ancient black armor. He killed all the gang members without hesitation and enjoyed it. Once he saw his little brother lying on the ground in pain, he turned back. He thought his brother was about to die but just as he was about to take his last breath he developed his new mutant ability: regeneration. The mutant he saved thanked him by giving him a katana that he said was owned by Oda Nobunaga, a samurai warlord who was believed to be a demon. When Damien turned 19, he thought that it would be best if he left to go see the rest of the world. He disbanded the Dream Team and him and his brothers went their seperate ways. Damien was last seen heading toward New York...
